Refund - Bathroom facilties Misleading website !!
We paid 679.00 Euros for two double rooms for two nights. On arrival we were told we had a shared bathroom !! That is not what it said when we booked . We had to pay an additional 60 Euros for my colleague to have a bathroom and toilet .The rooms were very dated but clean.Great location & staff were friendly enough.When we booked online your site said each room had a private bathroom wth a tub & shower . We would not have paid this much money for a shared bathroom.The price of this was extortinate due the exhibiton Brau . The key fobs for the doors were a pain to open & lock .We had not choice to book the hotel as no other accomdation was available but the rooms should of had a bathroom . Check ther price of t this hotel this week ( no exhibition ) - Big difference. Woudl like the additional 60 Euros refunded .

Parking was a block away. Lift was broken. Halls were poorly lit. Shared bathroom was small and unkept. Bed not comfortable. Walls super thin, heard every cough or noise from neighbors. No staff available at night. So close to bars and restaurants, didnt get quiet until midnightish.

Great location, not far from the train station. The room is small,no air conditioning, tiny bathroom. If you want wifi it is 2 euro a day.

Totally fine.
It is right next to a casino... so if that's your thing. But it is super close to the Hauptbahnhof. It is an easy place to find. It is satisfactorily clean and functions as a place to sleep. It's old, but fine. Also cheap. Which is another selling point. Easy walk into the historic area.

A Pitty was the broken Kaffe Machine, Broken WLan in the Room. Good was the Staff, wiche exussed for the inconvinience. As a Vegetarien the Breakfasts Buffet did not give much options. (As well here the Staff was frindly..)

Arriving on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, was the beginning of a stay in a House of Horrors. The grimy (outside and inside) elevator - probably the only fully-functional thing in this hotel; it never broke down in the 4 days there. It only smelled strange.

The room itself was comfortable enough, but : 1) There were no proper curtains on the windows, only nets. And there were overlooking buildings on the opposite side of the street. 2) One of the common shared toilets had no lock on the door, rendering it unusable. 3) No breakfast was available despite it being advertised. The breakfast room was locked at the time it should have been open for service, and the receptionist could offer no explanation.

Perfect location, close to central train station. Staff are very friendly. I can actually walk to most of the sightseeing spot within the wall of Nürnberg castle.

Great location, good value for money....but!
Very good central location, close to one of the train station exists. I had a single room with shared bathroom facilities - no problem! However as I was facing the street it was difficult to sleep at night because of the noise from the club next door especially Friday and Saturday night. On my last evening I asked if I could check out 30 minutes later, I was told it would be fine. Unfortunately the next day the man at reception questioned me as to why I was late leaving my room......he was very grumpy and unhelpful when I asked if I could store my case. He even told me to wait "Can't you see I have to concentrate, I am working on the computer"...... He ruined my last day in Nurnberg! On returning to collect my suitcase the person on duty was the total opposite (extremely helpful), I explained what had happened. I also suggested his grumpy colleague be retrained as he was a liability or he should be sacked!!

Budget hotel doubles prices during trade fair!
Unfortunately it was trade fair time so hotels full. I had been at this quiet inner-city hotel before and knew it for its good prices. I was shocked to now have to pay double the amount for a corridor-wide room! Should budget hotels also fix prices according to demand like this? I have never paid so much for so little. But the bathroom, the breakfast room, the coffee were all good.

Don’t go there!
Neither Internet nor TV were working in the whole hotel. My room was cold and the windows let a lot of cold in. Random extension cables in room and overall a quite shabby look. Definitely not a 2 star hotel!

Nice hotel, close to city center
My stay was pleasing overall, I had a single room and the bed was quite tiny, the room was also basic but I think it is fair for its price. The location was excellent, near the city center and a walking distance from important landmarks. Also a walking distance to the Christmas market. Recommended

Disaster
When we arrived at the hotel an hour after check-in time we were told our room won’t be ready for another 2 hours. The hotel was not wheelchair accessible, in spite of claiming to be. The breakfast was half an hour late (we almost ended up missing our flight home because of that) and didn’t provide almost any vegetarian options. Location within the walking distance of the Christmas Market was the only positive thing about this hotel.

Overall, we had a good stay here. However, the chap running the restaurant and the reception during the day had a very sour demeanour. When we asked for more water at breakfast for tea you'd assume he'd just been insulted. Also, when we informed him that we couldn't connect to the wifi later in the day he just stated that "it is impossible" several times. Not great customer service

the shower area stunk the toilet was bad the hotel was low class in need of a total refit. there was an area taped off that stunk like there was a dead body behind it. NOT German type at all too dirty to feel comfortable in did NOT shower dissgusting

It was in a good location, but the hotel is very dated and had a funny smell in the corridor. The receptionist was very nice and friendly, but that's about it, wouldn't stay here again.

Great location, good budget option.
Great location and good value (although I believe rates increase massively when there's events on in Nuremburg). Was impressed with the breakfast selection, which I didn't even realise was included when I booked. Despite my confirmation saying that check in was from 12.30, on arrival I was told it was 2pm, even though there was also a sign in reception confirming that it was 12.30. Was allowed to get the room key but was told "hopefully the room is ready" Room is very basic, but the bed was reasonably comfortable. There was no way of blocking out the sunlight, so hard if you want to sleep during the day. There's no power outlets near the bed either, so you can't charge your devices while using them from the bed. In summary, it's probably better to stay here rather than a hostel if you value a bit of privacy as long as the price is low enough (I paid €33 for a Tuesday night)

Good location in in the heart of the old city
The room is basic but for an affordable place in the heart of the old city it is comfortable and has what you need. Breakfast was simple and yet had a good variety.

Coming from America having to share a bathroom was a little odd. But a showers a shower so it was adaptable. The location is convienant from the train station and all the shopping you could want. However if your traveling with young children the "strip club" is next door and the locals party ALL NIGHT LONG. My favorite part of my stay was how comfortable my bed was and the breakfast was delectable!

Stay away from this hotel
Hotel runs a scam against us service members, charging for broken items in rooms that were already broken. However they never charge German citizens. If you are stationed in Graf/Vilseck stay away from this hotel!

The rooms are very small and dark.. I had only one plug in my room. No soap in the bathroom, and when I asked for it, I never received it. The staff was nice. But the room is the worst I have every stayed at

In the red light district, wreaks of cigars and cigarette smoke, there was a very large beetle I was sharing my room with and hotel staff on arrival was not entirely welcoming.

Expensive stay
Stayed one night to visit exhibition. Very expensive for what you get - supply and demand! Located next to a girlie bar, inside it reminded me of the old soviet hotels. However, the room was clean and the bedding was nice and crisp. Bathroom was tiny but ok. Breakfast was nothing special but ok. Staff were very nice. The location was very good near the main station and the old town. Would stay here again if the price was less than half what I paid but not otherwise.

Hotel was ok, service not so much!
Had a 2 day vacation in Nuremburg while going from Berlin to Munich. I'll start with the positives, this hotel is in a GREAT location. Centralized located in Nuremburg and walking distance to all major sites in the area. The room was mostly clean but not the most comfortable. The breakfast however was quite good! My biggest concern was service. Found buried in the Terms and Conditions does it say the hotel is closed at 11pm. This did not appear in the email confirmation and to my surprise when i checked in the door was locked and there wasn't even an emergency phone number on the front door and no one picked up when I called the number of the hotel. The staff didn't seem to concerned when I went back the next morning about having to stay twice. Given my experience, I wouldn't stay at this hotel again simply based on their bad customer service.
