We stayed at Karl August just before Christmas. The location to the Christmas markets was phenomenal! The hotel is also centrally located to many of the sites in Nuremberg. We loved the location. The rooms were well-equipped and beds were very comfy. The pool and spa is a must-visit! A great way to relax after a long day of travelling.

We absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely be back if we are ever in the area. However, I suggest not purchasing the breakfast. It was very over priced and the service was very slow even by European standards. There are plenty of other alternatives conveniently located near the hotel – one being the cafe connected to it.

Beautiful property located conveniently in the heart of the city. Rooms with balcony overlooking the river are spacious, beautiful and quiet. Bets hotel in Nürnberg.

Location, Location, Location!
Beautiful, trendy hotel in the perfect location. Everything we needed was provided. The only disappointment was that the indoor pool was not heated. After walking the Kriskindle markt all day, we were looking forward to a soak in comfortable temperature. However, it was cold and we could only tolerate for a few minutes. But watching the sun set from the the pool area was splendid! The location was perfect for the Markt, as we would go out, shop, drink Glüwein, and go back to the hotel to for a rest and to drop our goods.
