Lovely water and garden views. Two minutes drive to beaches, six to either town!

  • Studio designed with lots of natural light and a view. Setting in a rose garden with winding pathways fountains, and seating areas. Tranquil view of Penn Cove crowned by the Olympic mountains and Mount Rainier. Picturesque barns and farmlands on all sides.
    Features a full bath with sumptuous linens, Queen bed with sliding door to a private patio, electric fireplace and tv, internet, and comfy loveseat. Kitchen is fully equipped , seating at a table for 2. Open parking in private driveway. Some grocery staples included , but designed for fixing your own meals, or dining at any of our fine restaurants . Just half mile down the road there is a small organic grocery store featuring local breads, pies, homemade ice cream, fresh milk, cheeses and produce from our local farms . Also some gift items.

Sweet, cozy cottage with all the amenities needed for a perfect stay. Enjoy morning coffee on the covered patio or on the upstairs deck with water views. The property gardens added to the ambience.Itā€™s a quick drive in to Coupeville to explore, or park & walk on to the Port Townsend ferry to wander for the day. The cottage was the perfect location and a very enjoyable stay.

Nice birthday getaway.

Very nice three day getaway for my husband's birthday. Great location for accessing nearby towns, parks, and beaches. Hosts were lovely and very accessible and accommodating. The cottage was a very comfortable home base.

Great place to come to after running around seeing the sites. Itā€™s quiet, has everything you need and the property has so many flowers in bloom with a beautiful view of the water. We loved it!

Lovely spot for a weekend away

My wife and I really enjoyed this space as we got away from the city for a few days. The size was perfect where we didnā€™t feel right on top of each other, but were cozy in the small cottage together. The space was as advertised, and had everything we felt like we needed for our time away.

Sweet Cottage

Rose Cottage is a lovely cozy cottage surrounded by pretty views and gardens. We had a very nice stay. The hosts are warm and friendly and see to any needs you have. The Cottage is centrally located with some of the best of Whidbey Island.

Was a nice small cottage. Black Mold in utility closet which created a smell. Shower has an interesting layout making the drain area a bit precarious for someone who might be unsteady on their feet. Not much place for your clothes if youā€™re there for a longer stay. Hosts were nice and helpful and area was great. Was easy to find and check in was easy.

Beautiful Cottage close to everything!

We had a wonderful time here, the place was beautiful, and its right in the middle of everything, so we never had to drive more than 10 or 15 minutes to explore Whidbey Island. Thank you so much!!

Great spot and lovely hosts

Perfect view of the island and right next to the towns to visit, about 8 minutes or so. We met Juanita and Marty on our way out, and we are so thankful to support them! They are truly kind and friendly. We had a great time in the cozy little stay, and all amenities were met!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! It was quiet, sparkling clean, and the kitchen was stocked with incredibly thoughtful amenities. Juanita was very responsive to questions as they arose; the entire weekend was idyllic and fantastically restorative.

Lovely place!

We had a delightful time at this property. The garden is absolutely beautiful and the cottage was perfect for our needs. I did misread the listing and thought we could walk to the water, but the views were gorgeous, everything was a short drive away, and Marty was a lovely host. Highly recommend!

Lovely place, lovelier hosts!

Was on Whitney to participate in the annual (and fabulous) Coupeville Art Festival, could not have found a lovelier place to stay. Hosts went out of their way to say hello to me at the show and are simply adorable humans. Others have mentioned the gardens, they are indeed stunning.
