A Breath of Heaven offers just that - a piece of heaven at the beach -- and a wonderful family vacation too! This condo includes two beautiful sliding glass doors for viewing the stunning ocean scenery!

This first-floor unit offers breathtaking panoramic oceanfront views without the need to lug heavy luggage and groceries up three flights of stairs. Enjoy ocean sunsets via access to the deck from the master bedroom and family room. For your satisfaction, a new tub has been installed for the spare bedroom. There are laminate and tile floors throughout, tasteful decor, and much more! There are also two his-and-her beach cruiser bikes for your enjoyment to leisurely explore the island.

Enjoy high-speed optical fiber internet with WIFI, two flat panel high-definition Roku TVs, with a digital antenna available in the living room for local channels and a Sony PlayStation 3 in the master bedroom, a DVD/Blu-ray players, stereo for playing CD's/MP3's/AM/FM radio, board games, reading material, beach chairs, boogie boards and covered parking. These are just some of the wonderful amenities awaiting you on your beach getaway. The fully appointed kitchen includes granite countertops, an icemaker, garbage disposal, microwave oven and sink/faucet, which will make meal times convenient and enjoyable.

The pool is close by, but far enough away to avoid the crowd noise and foot traffic. The beach access is adjacent to the building. Take a five-minute stroll or bike ride to the beautiful golf course located across the road and have a nice lunch or an evening drink at Duffer's Pub and Grille. Stroll a short way down the sand for oceanfront dining at The Lazy Turtle, complete with an outdoor tiki bar. Take a bike ride further along the beach for a beautiful view or tour of the Oak Island Lighthouse.

Heavenly rest!

Fabulous location, gorgeous views, perfectly appointed accommodations, plenty of beach supplies. We felt at home immediately. The setting is surprisingly private and super convenient at the same time. It was, for us, appropriately named, and we will request this unit again.

Great views

Convenient bottom level right at the beach and pool with great views and peaceful. The unit wasn't that clean..the dryer and stove didn't work great, hall bathtub didn't drain well,but the air conditioning was fantastic and the kitchen was well stocked.

Pretty location. Condo floor was "spongy" all over, esp in master bedroom. The rental paperwork instructed us to notify of any issues, so I called and reported the floors, as they were bad enough to make the floors unlevel. I was told someone would come assess them. No one came. I called again, after 2 days of the first call to report the ceiling fan and receptacles in the other bedroom weren't working and the receptacle in entrance which is adjacent to this bedroom was making a popping sound. I considered this to be a fire hazard. I was informed that someone would come. I INSISTED that it should be checked asap. No one came. I received a text asking if the unit was clean and if there was anything I'd like to share, which I did. I got a response to that message at 11:30 at night. Someone came the following day. His response to the floors was that the entire unit was old so that was to be expected. Someone came to fix the receptacles (not celing fan/light), and they were informed of the stove randomly going from a high setting to off, which was another potential electrical problem. Nothing was done. Floors sandy. Not sure you can do anyting about that. What's so annoying is I stayed in a house that was twice as large as this condo, paid 200 more, and it was clean, updated, had every kitchen utensil known to man, and plenty of storage. I thought we'd get less of a house but didn't realize how unsafe this potentially would be. It definitely put a damper on things.
