Family Vacation

Large family gathering with 3 generations…plenty of room for all. House was pretty clean and well stocked. Furniture in living room desperately needs an update. It is old and not at all comfortable

Great value

This was my book club’s second stay here. The house is not fancy but is very comfortable and had everything we needed. To me the mattresses are most important. Their mattresses were great, so I got good sleep. We really love having 2 decks. The main deck is covered for daytime protection from the sun. The top deck is open and has great views. We spent our evenings up there. We would definitely spend the weekend here again.

Book Club Ladies Weekend

Every year, six of us enjoy a weekend together somewhere between Ocean Isle and Carolina Beach; mostly at Oak Island. Of all the different oceanfront houses we've rented, this one had the best beds ever! I usually have to take my Aerobed to put on TOP of a mattress that's too hard. Not this time. All of the beds' mattresses were new and soft enough for a side sleeper. This house was light, bright, comfortable and very clean. There was a view of the ocean out of any of the many windows. The carpet was light, clean and new. The furniture had fresh upholstery. We were so pleased with the layout and size of the rooms. The built in dressers in the rooms had plenty of drawer space and great lighting over them - good for doing makeup or hair. It was nice to have bath towels provided in each room, in nice, sanitary shrink wrap. Four bedrooms are upstairs. Two face the marsh side and share a hall bath between them. Two bedrooms face the ocean, share a large jack and jill bathroom and a big deck - very nice for sitting and watching the waves and the stars. One bedroom and full bath is on the main level - good for someone who doesn't like to climb stairs. The kitchen is nicely equipped and has an extra frig in the adjacent laundry room. The main deck had enough rocking chairs for 7 people, and a high top table with 4 chairs for eating or computing. There's covered parking for 3 vehicles and tons of space on the grass for extra cars. We had a maintenance issue the first day, but a guy came out right away to take care of it. We would definitely rent this house again. We were very pleased with the house, the location, the beach and the rental company.

Great porch and location. Lots of issues with maintenance. Downstairs a/c out and freezer making loud noise 1st night such that downstairs guests didn't sleep. No extra garbage bags -feel like they should be provided. People who came to fix things were great! Very friendly and competent. Checkout at 9 a.m. is a crock. Pretty much impossible expectation and makes me wonder what I'm really getting by paying for 2 nights-don't get in until 4 on Friday and leave by 9 on Sunday

Spring Break 2021

Perfect location! Clean, well appointed kitchen, great extra fridge for drinks, comfortable beds and great WiFi. 6 adults in class or work at a time and never went out. Would definitely rent again!
