Good: - A beautiful home, absolutely stunning, and very well-stocked- Good location, 3 minute walk from beach, good views from both ocean canal sides- Booking, check-in, and provision of information was accurate and smooth- Nice location, quiet and peaceful- Multiple decks provided ample living space, each with its own view- Someone came and took our bins out, which was a nice touch- Boxes for sandy shoes by each exit door were also a nice touch- Good beach for collecting shells- Labelling of lights helpfulRoom for improvement:- Inner entryway from carport is very dirty and unwelcoming -- understandably, given the poor ventilation, sand, and moisture, but it needs a deep clean, smells damp and mouldy- The house was tidy, but not clean. Mats in the bathrooms and kitchens were extremely dirty. Many of the floors and surfaces were sticky. The blankets, etc. were sticky (possibly from sanitising) and grimy, and required washing.- The house smelt strongly of smoke, and there was an ashtray outside. This concerned us, as we were under the impression the house was non-smoking, which is important due to some health conditions in our party. The closets, pillows, blankets, especially, were very smokey, and it took three days of washing and airing out the house before we started to make progress, but there was residual smoke up until the day we left.- Several of the doors and windows are rusted/jammed shut, and difficult to open, or do not open at all.
