Located in the heart of Oak Island’s popular East Beach, this charming and updated coastal home welcomes your entire family (including up to one dog per stay) for your next seaside adventure. A three-minute walk brings you from your doorstep to the closest beach access, or walk just a touch further and stroll by the collection of fantastical driftwood sculptures known as The Guardians of the Dunes on your way to the sea. Or explore the island in ease and style when you rent the four-seater golf cart for an additional $400 per stay.

Hardwood flooring on the first level of this home lends a touch of elegance, with warm wooden accents found throughout the space. Pile on the sofa to stream a favorite movie together or prop your feet up and claim one of the chairs with an ottoman instead.

The sturdy dining table seats six, with four additional bar-height seats at the nearby kitchen island. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook during your stay, and the deep farmhouse sink offers plenty of space to wash up local produce or the catch of the day.

A half bathroom down the hall services the common living areas, and a laundry room complete with a full-size washer and dryer, sink for rinsing swimwear and plenty of counter space for folding and organizing clothes is also located here.

Tucked behind the kitchen, the primary suite features a king bed, plenty of floor space, a wall-mounted TV for personal entertainment and a private ensuite bathroom. After a fun yet tiring day playing in the sand and surf, soak weary muscles in the deep tub as you gaze out the window and daydream. With a separate glass and tile shower and two sinks with their own vanities, getting ready for a night on the town together is convenient and easy.

Upstairs, the second bedroom offers a queen bed, and the third bedroom is furnished with a pair of twin beds. A standard full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is shared between the remaining sleeping spaces and a small lounge room.

The lounge is ideal for kids to have their own space for relaxing and includes a third TV and a pair of unique egg-shaped chairs sure to enchant your younger group members. This space also includes a twin bed and can serve as an additional sleeping area.

Enjoy sea breezes and gorgeous Carolina blue skies from the comfort of your covered front porch. A wooden gate at the top of the porch stairs means you can relax in the upholstered outdoor furniture while your fur-baby or little ones play at your feet.

Under the home, an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water allows you to rinse sand off before you even head upstairs. The fully fenced grassy backyard offers yet another safe space for kids to run off excess energy. A gas grill is provided if you decide to cook out, and there is plenty of parking for your vehicles in the driveway, including shady spaces under the house.

If you’d rather dine out than cook in, you can easily walk to a number of popular local eateries in ten minutes or less, including The Pirate’s Deck, Paul’s of Oak Island and Bar-B-Que House, as well as beach boutiques, ice cream shops, an arcade and two grocery stores.
