Our overall experience at this property was not great
We checked into Treasure Chest property in Oak Island on Saturday, April 1, 2023. The pool and back deck areas were very dirty. I reached out with multiple emails and phone calls without any prompt response to address concerns. The pipe to the outdoor shower was broken and not working. The TVs in 2 of the rooms are not working, the patios were not clean. We picked this property because it was advertised with private backyard pool. This is deceptive if the pool is not functional or in unsanitary for human use. I was told the maintenance manager will reached out because I demanded some refund /compensation since we have not been able to have the pool for 2 and half of our 4 days stay and never heard anything back. They finally came to clean the pool after multiple calls but never received any emails or call apologizing or addressing our compensation request for not being to use the pool till after 2 and half days.
This shouldn’t have happened in the first place but also the fact that you have been reluctant to address or even reached out was really disappointing. The inside of the property was very clean however with lots of space for kids to play around and games to keep them entertained. We don't plan on renting from this rental company for any future vacation.
