Sit on the screened porch with your morning cup of coffee and enjoy the perfect getaway spot to truly rest; soak in the peaceful sounds of nature and relax in the salty breeze. Watch graceful egrets and herons as they feed in the shallows, marvel as prehistoric-looking pelicans soar overhead and even spot playful dolphins frolicking in the warm waters.

Keeping the original period of the building intact, this property has modern day features that blend with vintage charm. Upstairs is the main living area, with extra-large wall-to-wall windows to showcase the natural landscape of the coastal Carolina environment. Lounge on the comfortable couch, love seat and recliner with family to take in a favorite movie, or enjoy spectacular evening sunsets that paint the sky in vivid hues from orange to purple. Outside, the large wraparound trex deck has multiple seating areas.

There is plenty of seating for meal times, including a large dining table that seats six and a smaller kitchen table seating four. Recently updated in March of 2026, the spacious and well stocked modern kitchen has everything you need to prepare fresh seafood, whether caught from your very own dock or purchased at one of the local markets.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed and a large wall-mounted flat screen TV. There is an attached private half bath for your convenience. The full bathroom on this level is accessed via the hall and has a standard tub/shower combo with sliding door.

The second bedroom features a queen bed and a small flat screen TV, and the final bedroom has two double beds and a large wall-mounted flat screen TV.

The ground floor provides plenty of extra space for entertaining with two separate seating areas, each with their own TV, and a wet bar. A double futon is available for extra sleeping space, and a full-sized bathroom adds to the convenience of this space. The laundry facilities are also located on this level.

On the back of the ground level is a screened patio area where guests can enjoy the coastal landscape. An additional dining table allows for dining al fresco. Or let your dog roam in the three-sided fenced-in yard while you relax on the shaded upper deck watching boats coast by on the Intracoastal Waterway. There is an enclosed outdoor shower with a dressing area that makes rinsing sand off after a trip to the beach easy and convenient.

The private dock includes a fish cleaning station and additional seating, along with a floating dock for securing your boat or launching a kayak or paddle board. Please note that the boat lift is not available for guest use. The side yard has plenty of space for parking your boat trailer. Ok if you like old houses

This property has been fairly updated. If you don't mind the old house smell and some mold here and there it's a great location and the master bed is comfortable. Views are great and the leather chairs were a treat!
