Yosemite Creekside Cottage Oakhurst - Bass Lake Pets OK

We are located 3 miles from Oakhurst, 11 miles from the south gate of Yosemite National Park, and 4 miles from popular Bass Lake. Perfect for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city or just a stopover on the way to Yosemite.

Located on Lewis Creek at 3000' elevation offers cool summers and mild winters. Listen to the sound of the water from the year-around creek running through the rear of the property or enjoy sipping your evening wine watching the tranquil water flowing downstream. The quiet neighborhood has a private park just 1/2 block away with a waterfall and swimming hole great for children, either 2 or 4-legged, where they can safely experience nature. The accommodations are perfect for two. There is a large bathroom with a claw foot tub, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private patio with a BBQ. There are several restaurants in Oakhurst as well as dining at Bass Lake. You'll have complete access to Lewis Creek to enjoy during your leisure time. The house below is also a BnB. The two houses are completely separate from one another sharing nothing except the entrance to the driveway.

This was a very nice, clean house that was close to Yosemite. It was perfect for my husband and me to enjoy some relaxation after visiting Sequoia. The communications with the host was exceptional.

What a great place to stay! The cabin is cozy. Everything about it was so nice. The kitchen had everything we needed, the living area, although small, was perfect for the two of us. The bed was soooo comfortable and the bathroom was spacious!
The creek had water running through it. I didn't have a chance to take my dog "Cooper" in for a dip though.
Bass lake is less than a 10 minute drive away.

We loved our experience here. Cute little place that had everything you needed for a great stay. When we arrived we arrived to a warm cottage with music playing, a candle lit and the best sugar cookies I’ve ever had. The place was very clean. Very comfy bed and a heater that worked perfectly. Will definitely be back! :)

Perfect home away from home

We wanted something out of the city/town yet close enough to all of the area attractions and this was the perfect spot with all of the amenities that you might need. The creek beside the cabin was an amazingly, awesome and beautiful plus. We highly recommend this cabin for your vacation getaway!

I celebrate my birthday every year in Yosemite and was looking for a cozy cottage close to the park. This cottage was perfect. The location was great with easy access to the highway but still keeping a quiet neighborhood in place. The check in was easy and the cottage was adorable. I was greeted with a welcome note and a plate of cookies. The kitchen was quaint and was stocked with all I needed. The bathtub was so relaxing and the bed was completely comfortable with great pillows. I would recommend this home for anyone looking for a cozy and quaint spot near the South entrance of Yosemite or to enjoy the Sugar Pine Train.

Perfect Yosemite Stay

This was the perfect stay for our short break in Yosemite. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. The outside space was a bonus as we had great weather to use it. Our hosts were so accommodating and gave great information and support as well as some amazing freshly baked cookies. We would definitely stay again and recommend!

Yosemite spring break

Easily within striking distance of Yosemite national Park. We biked the valley floor, climbed to the tops of gigantic waterfalls and retreated to Oakhurst to relax and recharge. Cute little cabin, everything we needed was there. In a quiet neighborhood, we never locked the doors and slept with the door by the bed open one night.

Cozy cottage perfection

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our amazing, weeklong stay here! The cottage was just as we had hoped, cozy and comfortable, and convenient to all types activities, with hummingbirds as ‘co-guests’. And with the river running right behind, it could not have been more scenic and peaceful. So many memories from hiking at Yosemite, visiting Bass Lake, and exploring the Madera wine trail. Thanksgiving weekend getway

Had a very relaxing thanksgiving! We cooked a nice dinner and spent a few days in Yosemite. Nice, cozy cabin with all the little things we needed for forgotten to bring provided :)
