Lake View Hideaway Near Yosemite & Bass Lake

This amazing house has 5 bedrooms and 3 distinctive spaces.
It over looks Bass Lake and is a dream come true for any group or single family looking to make memories. This is the ultimate multi-family getaway. Sleeps 16 comfortably with the main house that includes 3 bedrooms. The Lookout with it's own private bath and bedroom. The bunk house for all the kids or the really loud, stay up late group with 3 brand new couches that convert into beds. The outside space includes eating areas & authentic fire pit, built in BBQ, and a Blackstone griddle. The backyard is completely fenced in so your dogs are free to run around. The kitchen is nice sized with a beautiful island for preparing and serving meals and has a large dinning table. Games and DVD's for days. Sit and enjoy the stars and the lake all in one. There is parking for five or more vehicles and even a boat. Paddleboards are available for an additional fee.

Family getaway

We had a wonderful time in Oakhurst. The house was big enough for the 4 of us. The location was great because we could see Bass Lake from the front door. We liked how we were close to town. We will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here at this home for New Year’s. Great views of Bass Lake and a nice quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space to relax for the whole family. House is super clean and well-appointed, and there were TVs in every room (a must for us)!

Wonderful getaway.

We all enjoyed our stay. The size of our party was 11 total, various ages. It was great to decide where we would all sleep as there were several options. The home was spacious, the amenities good. This has been a favorite and I’m sure we will be back.

Great base for a Yosemite adventure

We stayed on bookends of a backpacking trip to Yosemite. House was clean and easily accomodated 7 guys with everyone having their own bed. Great stargazing over Bass Lake from back yard. Easy access to dining at Bass Lake or Oakhurst. Barely 40 minutes from South Entrance to Yosemite.

Yosemite 2024 Family Vacation

Nice property for a family Vacation. The rooms are nice and big. Plenty of room in the backyard for your pet to run around. Downfall is that there may be random power outages. Thankfully there it was only out for about 1 hour.

The property was excellent, we were so happy during our visit. We had a great time visiting Yosemite really close to the house and Sequoia which was a little further but worth it. It was my mom’s 87 birthday so she had an excellent time. Thank you for such a great time in your home.

Great Family Getaway!

Great property! The location was easy to get to with beautiful views of Bass Lake. We had a family of 10 with our 5 dogs. We spent most of our time in the back yard which was perfect for the entire family. The kitchen was great and I really loved that the bedrooms all had TV's. I highly recommend this property for larger families and we hope to return soon!

Christmas trip 2024

Geat views, beautiful house, close to walking trails. The house was spacious and met our needs overall. However, the main drawback was that the fourth room, located on the top floor, was not connected to the main living areas. This setup made it a bit inconvenient for group activities or easy access.

Christmas by the lake

The property was absolutely perfect for Christmas away with our large family. It was very spacious and very clean. We were all able to be with each other without being cramped and on top of each other. And the backyard was so cute with plenty of space for our little dog to roam around. Would 100% stay again!

Very Cool Property and Location

Great location- easy access to Oakhurst and Yosemite. Kitchen and family area was perfect for gathering. Clean and nicely decorated. Lots of nice little touches - cute coffee bar too! Nice backyard area as well but we didn’t use much. One of the rooms could use an updated mattress but everything else was fab. Enjoy

Great rental!

We loved our stay. So close to the lake and boat launch with plenty of parking for our family cars and boat. So nice that pets are allowed, that was a huge plus for us to bring our 3 Goldendoodle dogs! We were not able to let the dogs in the backyard as there were a ton of weeds and bushes with stickers that were a problem for our dogs but short haired dogs might have been fine. The owner was so kind, generous and easy to work with. Great communication with her. The house was well stocked with all the necessary supplies and kitchen items. Easy checkin and checkout process. It was a very hot week we were there and the ac unit in the apartment above the garage had a hard time keeping up with the extreme heat but the main house stayed nice and cool. Older home with some upgrades in the kitchen. Overall a really nice stay. Thank you!

Beautiful home, location and communication..but...

The first thing that struck me about this home was how clean and spacious it was. The bedrooms were particularly impressive, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The backyard was another highlight of the property. It was great to have a cozy outdoor space where we could gather and enjoy the fresh air. The kitchen was also spacious, which made it a breeze to prepare home-cooked meals for the holidays. It had all the amenities we needed, and we found ourselves spending a lot of time there, creating delicious memories. Throughout our stay, the communication with the host was excellent. They were attentive and responsive, ensuring that our needs were met and any questions were addressed promptly. However, I do have one concern about the property. The "bedroom" in the back seemed more like an outhouse. It lacked a closet and bathroom access, meaning we had to walk outside in the rain (yes, it was raining at the time) to use the restroom. This inconvenience was disappointing, especially for those staying in that particular room. Additionally, the beds in the back bedroom were futon couches, so they weren't as comfortable as we had hoped. On the bright side, the heater worked well to keep us warm during our stay. Overall, I would recommend this vacation home for big families, with the exception of understanding the inconvenience the back bedroom poses. We were staying at this property to celebrate a family birthday. Four families enjoyed the time together, the layout worked well for us. The host was very responsive to questions and even accommodated us to return after checkout as we thought we had left something behind. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking and baking items, which was great - as we cooked most of our meals there. BBQ and charcoal grill were utilized as well.Beautiful view, quick access to Bass Lake, lots of parking. The only negative was that the bathroom supplies given (TP, soap, shampoo) were sparse and we had to restock before the end of a 9 night stay.Overall a fun experience - we would definitely stay again.
