"The room was spotless, staff was very helpful and kind. The pool is beautiful the gym is great. The hotel location is perfect, quiet yet an easy walk to campus and the Rockridge area in Oakland. There’s a great bakery and Peet’s coffee just across the street from the hotel. Always a pleasure staying here, a wonderful resort like experience unmatched in the Bay Area."

"Room was decently clean , definitely needs a bit more updating. Our room had a bubble in the floor laminate.. like a fairly large bubble you could see it the moment you walked into the room. The beds are horrible… if you have back problems this is not the stay. Breakfast included continental so warm yogurt (not in the fridge) bread for toast , 2 different kinds of cereal. A muffin thing. Some small fruit like apples. That was about it. The pool was decently clean. We stayed 3 night and it does have a weird smell but we woke up today and walked out of our room and the entire first floor smelt like someone peed in the hallway!!! I would definitely say if your looking for cheap place to stay I would stay here again. It’s NOT a high end hotel. But the sheets were nice and the pillows where comfortable."
