Place was clean
While the place was clean, and we enjoyed our stay there are 2 issues that can pose a problem. 1 the parking can be hard to get. And if you come when it's dark the first day locating the house can be challenging. 2 the bed is on a raise floor about 18inch up. There is a step stool to use but older people should beware as this could be a problem. The bed is very comfortable and sleep well. The washing machine did not work while we were there. Would stay again for short visits.

Great cottage for long weekend
The cottage was a great place to stay for our long weekend in the East Bay. Convenient to Berkeley, Bart, Solano. Very cozy and had everything we needed after a long flight. Very quiet neighborhood!

Absolute perfection
I rented this cottage for me and one other person and it was the perfect place. It was small and cozy and had everything needed! The property owner was also very kind and fast with communication!

Bed & couch were uncomfortable had a problem with cooking, & bad wifi very slow.
Bad wifi,stove was a headache, hardly any parking. Very uncomfortable stay. Owner did credit us a day because I complained about rm.

Re Bad WiFi: Guest mentioned that her phone was not working correctly resulting in her needing to go to the local phone service center to get it fixed. Once fixed she had no problem connecting to WiFi. Stove: I have provided very clear instructions on how to operate the stove and met Fran at location to physically show her how to operate. Bed/couch: I am sorry that you found the bed and couch uncomfortable. My fix: I accommodated Frans requests and provided her with a refund for 1 days stay immediately. When we went to clean the cottage after Fran and her husband stay , we found the main entrance door broken to the unit as well as the blinds that hang from the main door.

This is a beautifully redone space. Very clean and bright. The location is excellent, just a block or two from Solano Ave restaurants and shops, also close to the El Cerrito Plaza BART station. Highly recommend.

Cozy retreat
This was the perfect place for my daughter, forced home from college because of Covid19, to hunker down and focus on her final projects for school. The cottage was clean and very well appointed, it is easy to see Patricia wants her guests to feel very comfortable. The location is safe and convenient to many stores and restaurants, just an easy walk away. Patricia was lovely to work with and I would highly recommend this property to both visitors and locals alike. Thank you Patricia, I will certainly think of your property for out of town guests in the future.

Comfy Cottage, Great Location
I enjoyed the cottage very much. It’s new and Patricia obviously chose high quality materials: from the bed to the heated porcelain floors to the beautiful electric fireplace. There is even a private little garden patio to hang out in and enjoy the abundant sunshine! There are also many great restaurants a five minute walk away on Solano Ave. Patricia was easy to reach and very pleasant to communicate with. Highly recommended!!
