This property was so nice, every employee was so kind and helpful. The room was very clean and I enjoyed my stay. The parking was a little confusing upon arriving but our car was safe in a parking lot across the street. One thing that could be improved was the loft bed could perhaps use a rail or some support to pull yourself up.

It was a last minute decision to spend the night in Oakland, the price was good, the room were very clean and modern, staff was friendly. The night we stayed there was a fun private event happening downstairs, so there was loud music and food vendors in the lobby area. Unfortunately the area around the hotel it's not so "touristy" to walk around. $35 parking fee p/n across the street. Overall it was OK

The parking was full so they tried to send me to a parking garage several blocks away from the hotel at 11pm at night in Downtown Oakland. The parking garage didn’t even exist. The manager was rude about the whole situation. Luckily the young man with the valet was very helpful.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the a/c in my room was broken. I understand they could not fix. I was only staying a night and it was not that day so it wasn’t too bad. The staff brought me two fan so that made it a lot better. I would stay there a again

The security guard in the front was very nice and offered to walk us to the fox theater. The walk wasn’t bad but the area is sketchy. Also a loud ass alarm of some sort woke us up at 0700 -_-

Overall, the experience was great. The location of my room wasn’t ideal and there was construction happening pretty early that disrupted my sleep. However, the hotel is clean, has a good vibe and was conveniently located in downtown. The staff were friendly and the check in/out process was smooth.

Positive aspects first - the bed was very comfortable, the room was super clean and staff were friendly. The two negatives- no coffeemaker in the room which is very inconvenient. There was a coffee station at the reception but the coffee wasn’t necessarily super fresh and hot. The second ding was that the folding table and the chair were completely mismatched in terms of height. The non- adjustable chair was very low to the ground and made the desk unusable.

This was my first time in this hotel and it will be the last one. Never coming back. Parking was nightmare, no information anywhere how the parking works, you must walk outside the property and it was raining. Not what I expected at all, very disappointing.

The Moxy is absolutely amazing. It’s a nice Chic Hotel. I just wished it was 2-3 blocks away from where it is currently at. When you’re within the walls of the moxy it’s a different world But outside it’s Gotham city.

There was no parking included and then there was not even valet service. We spent almost an hour looking for a parking spot instead of relaxing in our hotel on a 24 hour getaway for my birthday as a mom of two kids. Very frustrating. And the the mini fridge was so noisy, turning on and off all night, we couldn't sleep. This hotel was not worth the price.

Our stay at the Moxy was really nice. The staff was nice and welcoming. The common spaces like the lobby, bar, area are really nice and a good place for working remotely. We found the area relatively safe with lots of nearby coffee places, bars, and restaurants. The Fox and Paramount theaters are also nearby and Lake Merritt. Our only negative thing to say is our room climate control was not working. Staff did come try to problem solve and brought us a fan but it was a bit stuffy in our room.

Nice hotel. But no ice machine anywhere to be seen. Got some from the bar but just the shaved type. Upon our check out we were told there was no valet to retrieve the vehicle. So we had to walk with luggage to the lot where it was parked. I paid 45 dollars for this.service just blows.
