The space This is a true rustic cabin experience approximately 1 mile from George Cossar State Park. There is a warm cozy feel in this open floor plan with spacious loft. The enclosed garage gives you the perfect place to park a boat, ATV, or your vehicles to escape the weather. The front porch has large ceiling fans to stir up a breeze on a warm summer day, and is equipped with rocking chairs to ensure a relaxing experience. The back porch offers beautiful wooded scenery where you can sit and watch squirrels, deer and wildlife in their daily routines. There is also a small fire pit area - bring a few sticks of firewood and relax by the campfire in the evenings. most guest like to throw in the s’mores for a little snack! Also, Throw the corn hole boards in the trunk, as there is plenty of room to "toss a few under the covered carport or in the driveway." We stayed two nights for a family reunion at the lake. This is our second time staying at this property. It is in a peaceful setting, the back porch is awesome for sitting and visiting!
Great place to stay if you’re visiting as an opponent to Ole Miss football. Only about 30 minute drive to Oxford to watch your team lose against Lane Kiffin and the Rebs. Gig ‘em, Ags! Property has everything you need!
Launch pad for hunting my own property in the area
This was our second stay at rustic retreat. It was evident the owners had continued to improve the property, and we were very comfortable for the three nights we were there. While not a luxury property, it is exceedingly well kept and provides the basics plus more for a weekend in the woods. We will be back.
The property was very rustic and inviting. We were not bothered by anyone and it was everything we wanted. My wife and I absolutely loved it. I loved the metal roof when it rained and we were still able to grill because of the wrap around porch. Very close to the lake and we were in the middle of the woods. I don't have any complaints and it sucked to leave. We will definitely try to book this again in the future!

Couch was so dirty. I wouldn’t sit on it. Chairs at the table were gross and the towels look like they were from 1970 very used.Pots and pans are gross
The property was very cute, the refrigerator was not clean on arrival, the freezer on the back porch was moldy and stinky, there is a black mold growing on the ceiling of the cabin, we made sure to wash all dishes, and towels before use as they seemed dirty, we expected for the price it would be clean. Other than that the cabin is really cute and nicely placed on the property.
Clean, neat and tidy. Enjoyed our stay. Easy access to park. Safe neighborhood. Had multiple ages with us. 3-14. Enjoyed being so close to Lake Enid. Definitely return.
