Excellent stay in every way at a beautiful and friendly Bavarian town. Be prepared to know some German to communicate, but this is not a negative but an incentive to enjoy the German culture and people. Highly recommend.

Everything was clean, with a newly remodeled bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was satisfying. It was easy walking distance to the main part of town, and we even had a nice view. I’d stay here again, it was a good value.

There was nothing to not like about this Hotel. IT WAS GREAT. The lady's were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and kept that way daily even with rain outside. The food was great. The overall experience was wonderful. If I had anything bad to say was parking was cramped, we found out needed to be back at hotel early or hard time to park. But that wasn't the hotels fault, people just didn't drive.

A great hotel, will gladly revisit.
A classic but modern bavarian hotel. Well managed by two nice ladies, great facilities, renovated and modern bathroom. modest but satisfying and tasty breakfast. Will gladly visit again.

was a little hard to find and also get checked in but once settled it was great. Stepping outside the door to the wonderful view was wonderful. Breakfast each morning was great too.

Great pensione with great staff
The Enzianhof is a pensione with only a few rooms, but with a staff, ambience and service that rivals larger, more costly hotels. It was noted the moment we arrived that I was using crutches and we were immediately asked and given a ground floor room. Our room was clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was good; we were asked if we wanted some items that were not on the buffet. We were warned by our taxi driver from the railway station that because it was Christmas, restaurant reservations could be difficult to obtain. We were aided by Catherine at the hotel and found a place for Christmas dinner. If we ever return to Oberammergau we would select Enzianhof without even looking for a different hotel because of our good experience.

Great room and in a great location. Nice short walk to get the S-bahn train into Munich---22 minute ride. Would stay there again if in the area.

Last Minute Trip to Oberammagau a Stunning Suprise
We decided to travel to Oberammagau at the last minute - we booked the Enzionhof by chance - it was the most wonderful experience of our entire trip to Germany. The Guest House was gorgeous and family Kraus very welcoming - the rooms comfortable and breakfast delicious - we had a stunning view from our room. Many thanks to you all, you made our trip truly special

Spacious, clean and good service.
We have booked doublebed room, but later we decided to add one more rollable bed. The hotel recommend us to change to tripplw bed room because it is still cheaper. Great! The room is really big enough for 3 (or even 4) we have enough space to put our 2 big luggages and all other things. The barhroom is clean and has enough space. Toilet and shower is not long ago renovated. (I guess from the new style toilet not the old style like in old style hotel in europe) i am happy that i stayed here. And also we can reach the city center by walking. In the morning, there is a lady is at tge breakfast kitchen and ready to prepare your fresh cook eggs.

Albergo ottimo gestito da due donne molto gentili e disponibili. Camere ottima qualità e molto ben pulite. Colazione discreta, le uova le cuociono al momento su richiesta, manca beacon e assortimento di dolci come croissant e biscotti. Spa ben assortita che ispira. Unica pecca balcone in comune, se si vuole la privacy occorre tirare le tende.

Die Zimmer waren angemessen groß und sehr sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Beim Frühstück gab es ein Buffet das etwas klein war und wurde leider auch nicht mehr aufgefüllt wenn man nicht extra danach gefragt hat.

Alles da, was man braucht
Das gebuchte EZ war sehr klein und ging zur Straße raus, bzw direkt vor dem Fenster war auch der Parkplatz des Hauses. Also blieb das Fenster nachts geschlossen. Das Zimmer an sich war sauber, das Bett sehr bequem. Am Frühstücksbuffet arbeitete der berühmte Frühstücksdrachen - spröde und stets darauf bedacht, so zu tun, als verstünde man die dummen Preußen nicht auf Anhieb😉 Die Chefin des Hauses ist hingegen nett und hilfsbereit, die Lage des Hauses prima, also empfehle ich den Enzianhof gerne weiter.
