"Hotel is on the edge of the old town of Fussen and a very short walk from the train station, great position. Has own car park beneath hotel, special rate for guests, though quite tight space for your larger car. Reception were helpful when we had questions. Old Fussen is great if you like wandering around old streets, full of shops, bars and restaurants. You have the castles a short bus or car journey away, though, you need to book to ensure you get in on the day you want to go, or take pot luck at the on site ticket office. Nice walks just out side of town, various lakes and the river Lech. We enjoyed our visit."

"We loved our stay. It had a feel of better times, with kids playing together in a safe space, plenty of space for adults to hang nearby with good food and drinks. I loved the room which was very clean and had a retro style. So much space too! Don’t forget to pack your bathing suits. We didn’t and we’re disappointed that we couldn’t enjoy the indoor pool. The dinner buffet, and breakfast buffet were both very good. "

"Stunning relaxing spa property with easy access to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. Gorgeous room, sauna and pool access in the spa was incredible perk and the daily breakfast was spectacular. Easy in and out parking, helpful staff. Hope to return soon and wish we could have stayed longer!"

"The hotel was a great place to stay - it filled our needs and was a good value , clean and had a great staff . It is family run and a great find . Great location , beautiful scenery and friendly staff . Do not sleep on the breakfast - we have done a lot of travel and spent time at very expensive hotels - this breakfast is awesome . The owner / manager is a great host ( Andreas ) - highly recommend "
