Just about 80 metres from the house, you can even watch the trains go by—a true taste of the Harz right on your doorstep.

    After breakfast, set out on a hike or bike ride through the surrounding forests. In winter, the nearby Wurmberg beckons with its ski slopes. Or take a stroll to the Elend train station and enjoy a very special day trip aboard the historic steam locomotive up to the Brocken.

    After an eventful day, return to your own detached holiday home. The kids can play in the garden or have a game of table tennis while you relax on the patio. In the evening, you can sit together by the fire pit or cosy up inside by the crackling fireplace.
