"We loved the location, inside the walls; we enjoyed walking along the castle walls and wandering the twisty, old, cobblestone streets. We found excellent cafes and restaurants within Óbidos and did a day trip by bus to Nazaré. However, the 1 bathroom was tiny- it was challenging to even turn around. The bathroom sink did not have a stopper and I didn’t feel comfortable putting in and cleaning my contact lenses over that little sink. "We had an easy check-in and a beautiful spacious apartment. We are casual golfers who had not planned on playing, but the course looked so nice we had to! The beds are large and comfortable. The WiFi, tv, AC, and bathrooms all worked perfectly. We played some family soccer at the outdoor pitch and would have enjoyed the pool except that a film crew was shooting a soap opera during our stay… it’s okay because instead we swam at Foz de Arelho beach 20 minutes away, which was one of our trip highlights. We are used to sharing a small room with the kids on holiday, so having a dining room and separate bedrooms felt luxurious! Breakfast was nice, with decent plant-based options. A highly recommended stay!"

"This was a lovely, quiet, peaceful place to stay. Our family of 3 (2 adults, 1 child) stayed here for a night during our quick stop in Obidos and we are so glad we chose it. Super clean, lovely front desk person, comfy room. The breakfast the next morning at the castle (an extra charge) was delicious and such a nice treat. Highly recommend!"
