The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Quick but great stay!

We stayed here for a long weekend girls trip. The location was convenient to shopping and dining. The views were wonderful, especially the sunrise! We were pleased with the overall cleanliness and ease of parking. We had a great time!

High in the Sky

The Golden Sands is a family favorite. The pools and deck bar is so convenient during a vacation. Staying on the 20th floor gave us great views of the ocean and loads of dolphins. The room met our needs but could definitely use a refresh.

Beautiful location and easy access. The only issue we had was the bathrooms. The bathrooms sink having rugs was not sanitary and the family room rugs were old.

Pros: Gorgeous views of both ocean and bay. Right on the beach. Quiet rooms. Spacious. Nice kitchen. Free wi-fi. Mostly clean. Cons: Elevators were very slow/broken. Door lock needs to be replaced, very difficult to open and close.

Loved the views. Front door needs to be fixed. won’t close and almost impossible to lock from the outside. a decent portion of the blinds throughout the condo are broken. crack in the giant mirror wall. other than those items we did love our stay

Very cute condo however many updates needed. Window blinds broken in every room, refrigerator had duct tape in place of shelf, and broken chair on balcony. We did like that each bedroom had its own bathroom and we were able to watch the sunrise on the balcony. For the amount of money I feel it should not have had the issues that were there.

Condo rental

Great view of both ocean and bay view.three bath rooms a plus. Location near all the activities. However could use some upgrades. The blind need repair, the sliding door going out to balcony keeps coming off, the front door was tricky closing, on of the bedrooms door didn’t lock and the kitchen needed steak knife s and new frying pans. Vacasa was great getting us a new code when ours didn’t work. The golden sands had a fire drill n no water for 4 hours. I would recommend n stay again. They left us a nice care package with paper towel n toilet paper n dishwasher soap. Also bathroom towel

We had some issues with tv's, master bedroom didn't turn on at all and the main tv cable box stopped working half way through our stay. My wife was a little disappointed with the venetian blind situation. However, everything else about the rooms and location made it a wonderful vacation for my family. I would definitely book this room again given the opportunity.

Golden Sands is wonderful - condo could use a refresh

The Golden Sands itself is great - the staff takes amazing care of the grounds and the Tiki Bar is amazing for food and drinks. The kids love going in the pool and getting ice cream. The condo itself has great space - 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a large living room and dining room space. I just wish that it was better maintained. The blinds are falling apart and the bathooms are just really dated, which makes them seem unclean. Many of the lightbulbs were "out" and so lighting at night was a challenge.

Front door was difficult, garbage disposal didn’t work, blinds were broke and tv didn’t work. The most disturbing part was the stench from the trash when we stepped out of our room. If we could get in quick we could just hold our breath but our code was changed midstay and we had to call for the new code which took about an hour until it was resolved. Otherwise we had a nice time and the place was nice.
