Sunset Island Townhouse
This was our first time staying on Sunset Island, although we've been coming to Ocean City, MD for 40 years. The community is beautiful & the amenities are pleasant. It is a half mile walk to the ocean. The first floor has one small bedroom, bathroom, laundry, & garage.The second floor has a living room, dining room, kitchen, & half bath. The third floor has three bedrooms & two bathrooms. The fourth floor has a large bedroom & bathroom. There are lots of stairs. The house is adequately supplied, but not extravagant. For example, there is one drip coffee maker, no cutting board, no tea pot. The dishwasher & the garage door keypad never worked. We contacted the management company on our first day, & we were told that a repair person would come as soon as possible. No one arrived. It was annoying to hand wash dishes for 9 people for 7 days. It was also annoying to walk around the strip of townhouses from the garage & go in the front door to open & close the garage every time we left & returned to the house. The cupboard door to the pantry was on a broken hinge & unusable. This house could be a 5 star if the broken items were repaired & the kitchen better supplied.
The house comes with linens & six pool passes & three parking passes. The parking passes can only be used on the garage side of the house. Extra pool passes & parking passes can be purchased for an additional $70 each. Visit the management office for a map & schedule of events.
