We stayed in March for a cheer competition, and overall it’s a super cute little house. It worked well for what we needed, especially being able to have a few of the athletes come for dinner & hang out. It’s probably a great summer spot!!When we arrived, we had trouble getting in because there was a lockbox on the front door, but we were actually supposed to use a keypad on the back door through the screened-in porch. Parking is also behind the house and accessed from a different street.This wasn’t included in the check-in instructions so we had to contact the rental company & wait for a response.We were disappointed that the lights above the hot tub didn’t work, especially since that was the reason we booked the property - to relax there after the competition at night. My husband is an electrician & tried to troubleshoot, but since the property is managed by a company, communication had to go back & forth instead of directly with the owner, so it wasn’t resolved. That was probably our biggest frustration - having to deal with a rental company instead of the owner. Communication felt slow and less flexible. Checkout was at 10am, which is early. With competition schedules being released about a week in advance, we found out my daughter wouldn’t be done until 10:15am. I asked if we could have everything packed and comeback briefly by 11 to grab our belongings so we didn’t have to load the car at 6:30am, but the rental company was going to charge us.
