The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

This beachfront condo is ideally located within walking distance of various dining and shopping options; you can also take the bus for hassle-free travel to your favorite destinations. The historic Ocean City Boardwalk, with its carnival atmosphere, great food, and superb nightlife, is located five miles south. You can also plan a fun family day at Jolly Roger Amusement Park and Splash Mountain Waterpark, only four miles south.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Awesome stay

Building itself is older but overall we were happy with everything except the WIFI. Place was clean, we had clean towels and linens and just overall pleased. I would definitely go back.

The condo itself had good space and seating for a family. Refrigerator and microwave were clean which are usually an issue when renting. Nice view, especially if you don’t mind heights. Linen service was convenient. The condo was not well cleaned. I understand that each cleaning does not need to be a deep clean, however it should be noticed when things build up. Ceiling tiles in attached bath to primary were loose and one was falling with the insulation coming out. Floors all throughout did not look touched. Hair in the bathrooms. Kitchen counters had crumbs and “goo”. Toaster and coffee maker were not good. We had to clean the condo ourselves. If you charge such a cleaning fee, we would expect a little more.

Fantastic unit and building

great view from balcony, fully equipped kitchen with appliances, utensils and plates. Clean linen package supplied. unit was clean and organized, tv's were great..........very nice unit for family vacation!

Beds and furniture was comfortable. The view was wonderful. Everything in the kitchen worked and were given enough supplies. The ceiling fans were dusty, especially in the master bedroom. The toilet in master was too low.

Other than the elevator slowness at times the only issue I would say was the air conditioner waking me up all night when it kicked on and the thin walls when people were in the hallway disposing their trash. Nice view always nice to wake up to the rising sun and a full moon at night over the water.

View was good. On the beach. Needs upgrades through the condo. Elevators are horrific. No air moving at all and sometimes waited 10 minutes in the building. This went on all week . Cable didn't work in the back TV in our unit. We went down 3 times to no avail. Internet was really an issue. For the cost of one week we wouldn't stay again.

No toilet paper. 6 light bulbs burned out. Bath tub didn't drain. TV Remote batteries dead. After calling about toilet paper no one came out. Ceiling fans dirty. Favor from the 70s.

Incredible views

Had a wonderful time mostly just sitting on balcony. The windows there should have been cleaned. I didn't expect the indoor pool to be closed already. Would have been nice to know.

Nice property needs a little work

Clean! Always most important to me. TV set up. Awful. I know people don’t go on vacation to watch TV. however, I’d like some normal channels were maybe I could watch the local news. Everything was subscription service or streaming which was about impossible. The pluses was it had an indoor pool and outdoor pool oceanfront, nice deck & beach bar with entertainment. Definitely VACASA could use some training in guest relations. I don’t think I will rent through them again. Extremely high fees. Golden Sands employees were very nice though.

Great condo, dealing with rental company a pain

The condo was very clean and had a great view. Coming from Ohio we usually arrive somewhere between one and four. When the condos were under Coldwell banker we would be allowed to park our car and go up to the pool until our condo was ready. When I asked Vacasa to just give us our parking permit ( considering the last family left at 10 AM), they told us no. If you want to get in earlier than four I would advise you to request from Vacasa an earlier check in time. They told us we could park across the street and come over and go to the pool. So rather than drive across the street we drove down to carousel who loved taking our money for drinks and food. I guess it’s nothing off Vacasa’s back to let renters go to another facility to spend money. Very frustrated. We have been coming to Ocean City for 30 years and usually always stay at Goldensands. Not too sure I would rent through Vacasa next year. I feel bad for the owners.
