Our favorite place to stay!

We host our annual girls trip here each year in May. Girls from 5 different states coming together and need a place to catch up and relax. There is plenty of room for everyone to be together or to spread out. We love this house and appreciate Mr. John always being super responsive and so helpful!

Church Ladies' Retreat

This house is a great house for large groups! Much thought has been given to hosting large groups - two refrigerators, two dishwashers, queen-size bunk beds. Location is great - very short walk to the beach. Our group loved staying here and would definitely rent again. The owner is very easy to work with.

Great house and location

Our group of 4 adults and 5 tween/teen girls have rented this house twice, and we all love it! The house has everything you need and is walking distance to shops in Ocean Isle. The girls love the pool and queen bunks. John, the owner, is easy to communicate with and accommodating (he offered us an early check in). Will definitely rent again!

The house is beautiful and in a great location. Quiet street with friendly neighbors, quick walk to the clubhouse/beach. House is roomy, clean, good sized pool, great outside spaces. John was a dream owner to work with, quickly responded when we had questions. He went above and beyond and we can’t recommend this house enough!

Great home for annual golf vacation.

We stayed here for our annual golf trip instead of getting separate golf condos. All 12 guys were able to comfortably live here for four days. Each guy had their own queen bed plus there is a king master bedroom where a father and some shared the room. Very clean! Nice pool and deck area. View of the ocean from the upper deck and a block from the beach. Fantastic home that we’re already considering for next year!

Amazing Property

This rental was by far one of the best we have ever booked. The home is beautiful inside and out. The elevator was a huge bonus with my mother who is in a wheelchair, the older family members who came and for the five toddlers. The pool area was nice and just the right size. Having access to the beach club right across the street was perfect for getting over to the beach and then swimming in the clubhouse pool if the kids needed a break. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions. I would highly recommend this rental!!

Annual Ladies Beach Trip

We were a group of 8 women who have been coming to the beach together for over 15 years. This was our first year in this home. The location was wonderful and a quick walk to the beach. We very much liked being able to go through the beach club entrance and use the restrooms. Having 2 refrigerators side by side in the kitchen along with 2 dishwashers was wonderful. Wish more beach house rentals had that. We also enjoyed having 2 separate living spaces. Would recommend this home.

Everyone agreed that this was our favorite Ocean Isle house so far. We stayed in another property that is owned by this sane individual. It was great but this one has a couple extra things that made this our favorite. The 2 refrigerators let us do a lot more shopping at one time. The 2 dishwashers were great as well. We’ll definitely be back and rent this house.

A Perfect Week

We just finished our second stay at Vitamin Sea and it was just as amazing as our first stay. This house truly has everything needed for a family vacation. We had 6 adults and four little girls, in all we ranged in age from less than a year to 73 years old. There are great spaces for everyone to enjoy their interests including a really nice pool and bbq area. The elevator is such a huge plus as is access to the beach front clubhouse. The proximity is just perfect-one row back, which keeps the house away from road nose but a quick 5 minute walk from he house to the sand. John is a wonderful host, responsive and gracious. Thank you, John, I sincerely hope we are able to make this a tradition!

Girl Cousin Getaway!

Each year most of the girl cousins get away to spend an extended weekend together to fellowship and enjoy each other without spouses and children. This year we chose this property and everyone was surprised at the layout and amenities that come with this property. We enjoyed every minute at this property and must say of all the properties we have stayed in, this property had everything we needed to stay in for 4 days. We usually bring our own pots, pans, and other utensils, but we were able to leave ours in the vehicles. We will request this property again!

Great Place for Large Groups

Choose Vitamin Sea if you’re looking to get a large group of family or friends together a block from the Atlantic Ocean on Ocean Isle Beach in NC. The home was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with anything needed for feeding large groups casually or in style. Lots of seating areas throughout the house and outside. Our stay took place off season in April and we found it extremely peaceful and quiet. The owner John was accessible and promptly took care of any questions or concerns we had. Be sure to bring your own paper goods and toiletries (toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, soap, etc.) as well as sheet sets and towels (as none of those things were provided. Great home! It even has a decent sized ocean view from the second floor deck. We enjoyed our stay soooo much!

Excellent House- Perfect location

We were a family of 13 total…youngest being 5. We had a wonderful experience with the owner and loved the location. The beach is is so soft and stunning sunrises :) We had an issue with the pool and the owner had someone out there in a few hours.we also had 2 comforters with stains… and replacements came that night! There are a few details that could use some attention… shower curtains needs washed, some stains on rugs and beds (I’m assuming some people forget to bring their own sheets.. and leave unfortunate stains:( The beds were very comfortable- plenty of pillows and extra blankets. There are some board games /cards- and a few pool toys left behind that we had fun with. Plenty of room to bring your bikes and store underneath. Perfect outdoor furniture… sturdy and plenty for both levels to enjoy the decks and Pool :) Elevator was a necessity for the elderly parents… and worked great the whole time

Vitamin Sea Beauty

Just got back from a 3 night stay at Vitamin Sea. Three generations, 6 adults and 2 kids ranging from 3 to 72 were so happy in this amazing house with all of its decks, rooms, the pool, and of course, the close proximity to the beach. The house is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc. If you reserve just think about bringing all of the things you use in your everyday life like kitchen sponges, paper towels, dish towels, hand towels, hand soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, garbage bags etc. The coffee pots use the flat-bottomed style filters, not cone-style. Publix is just a 5 minute drive away if you forget anything. You will need your own sheets and our family brought their own comforters/blankets, although there are plenty of blankets in each closet. The pool was lovely this time of year without extra heating. The club house access is such a plus for bathroom and (additional) pool access. The owner of the rental is super easy to contact and very responsive. We already scheming on another trip to Vitamin Sea next fall!
