"All four of us loved this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a sit down, waiter service meal and the food was excellent. The dining area and bar are beautiful. The rooms were clean and well decorated, the beds extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were well stocked. The indoor parking was a nice bonus. This is a fabulous place. "

"This motel has been very well maintained through the years. There were some nice updates and it was obvious there is a high standard of cleanliness. It is close to downtown and also the Acadia shuttle. We walked to breakfast one morning."

"We loved the peaceful location. We never heard any noise at night (except for a neighbor outdoor gathering one night). The beds were firm but comfortable. We walked about 15 minutes to the west end of Bar Harbor to rent bicycles. Otherwise, we drove to other destinations. Cell service is poor or non-existent for our phones. Using the wi-fi was essential. TV service was not ideal but we don't watch much anyways. "
