The Village of Bear Trap Dunes surrounds 27 holes of championship golf at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club. Just a short drive to Bethany Beach, this exciting golf course community features a fantastic set of amenities, including the Village Pavilion (with indoor pool , outdoor pool and kiddie pool, exercise room, Har-Tru tennis courts, hard surface tennis court, multisport court and saunas for homeowners and guests), outdoor pool, playground, playground, summer beach shuttle and clubhouse with restaurant.

THINGS TO KNOW
The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges an optional per person fee for guests ages 4 and older for the use of the community’s amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year and is subject to change without notice. Guests that opt to purchase amenity passes MUST purchase at the Bear Trap Pavilion.
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Wonderful getaway!

House fine. Program locks a disaster.

House was comfortable. The program locks would reset every time we left. Left outside with groceries twice. First time was well over an hour. They reprogrammed the lock and it still wouldn’t work. Unacceptable. I feel bad for the owners. It’s not their fault. We got a “sorry for the inconvenience”. They did not handle the situation appropriately.

Locked out both nights.

Locked out both nights. Sat in parking lot for over 4 hours to get left in. All you get is a $50 refund. No one truly cares about taking care of customers. It’s for show like this review I’m doing. If you truly cared you would of refund us our money or gave a Credit to stay somewhere for a free night. It’s about the money. Sad but it’s America these days.

Okay stay for last minute booking

Overall good stay cleaning needs improvement but was close to my family staying in wedgefield. Immediately after we checked in it smelled horrible. After checking all the bathrooms and kitchen we discovered the trash was not emptied I’m guessing from the previous renters. After taking it out the smell did dissipate about a hour later. The comforter in the king bedroom was also stained. I have pictures of both. My friend also discovered a random pair of mens socks balled up under the bed, I don’t have a pic of that but did leave on the floor a few inches away from where it was located. Parking is also very limited even though lease says 2 approved spots I was not able to park in the lot at all had to park and walk up.

Love the Beartrap Duns

The place was nice and convenient. My only complaint is the beds were the worst. Woke up everyday with a back ache. Other than that the place was really nice. This was our 3rd time in the development and will return next year.

Just what we needed,...convenient, comfortable, and safe. Communication was great, the place was clean inside (outside could have used a washing but nothing major). The dryer was a little finicky, but it worked. The A/C worked great (most important)!!!

The condo and community was very nice. On the surface the place was clean but could use a deep cleaning. The carpets are in need of a good deep cleaning. Vacasa responded promptly to us after our arrival regarding the issue.
