"This resort was exactly what we wanted, nice pool and beach view. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly. Pricing for parking is high, but you can seek other options if you are willing to deal with it resetting at 12:01am. Valet guys are charming. Food is pricey but delicious and really get what you pay for, with excellent staff at your service. One of our bags got delayed and the airline delivered to the hotel and they put it in our room while we were out and about. Sister in law took amtrak down from LA to meet us, station is 2 blocks away. You never hear the train at the property though. Great get away and all local restaurants were delicious. Bier garten and Craft coast bear and tacos were our faves..and dont forget Parlor Doughnuts!!"

"We tried to check in early on Sun. 7/26. (noon) That was not possible, which is something we totally understand. Our problem is with the way the person at the desk spoke to us. She was rude at best. The manager/owner was kind enough to allow us to burn some time at the pool till check in and a gate card to access the harbor from the property. From then on it was smooth sailing! The person that did check us in at 3:00 pm was fabulous. We really appreciate her help. The the room was immaculate, parking was easy, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. We really loved the location to the harbor. It was absolutely perfect. I'd highly recommend."
