"Great location and walkable to the beach, even with small children. Felt safe. Room was spacious and beds were very comfortable. Very strong water pressure in the shower, which we loved. Breakfast rotated throughout the week and was always fresh and tasty."

"Was told at check in that our confirmed king room was not available. Blamed Expedia for selling overbooked rooms. Made us feel even more welcome by putting us in a room on the side of the building where major construction is being conducted next door. Construction alarms and other noise began relentlessly at 6:00 AM. Thanks BW+."

"The place was great with amazing views, clean, and helpful staff. Only giving 4 stars because there is no air conditioning (a big fan was provided) and no elevator (we were on 3rd floor and there for a wedding so lots of stuff to carry up 3 flights of stairs but staff was eager to help carry some stuff). Also, the sea lions can get a little loud at night. Overall enjoyed our stay, the room was spacious, big kitchen area, and clean."

"I was disappointed that my only choice for parking was to pay $40 for their parking garage or $30 a day for the parking lot beside the building. I thought for the price, it should have been included. I also didn't know (train side) meant the train would literally be coming by my window every 30 minutes or so, but they made up for it by putting a sound machine in the room. I didn't hear it after I went to sleep. The bed was comfortable and I slept really well. Everyone was friendly and the breakfast was good. I also thought it was right on the beach, but it is actually behind another hotel. Even so, I walked out the door to the stop sign, crossed the street, went down the ramp, and was at the beach, so I was pleased about that. Overall it was a nice experirence on a night I really needed the rest. I would stay there again."
