The hotel’s main advantage lies in its convenient location. Situated within walking distance of Island Village, the beach, and various restaurants, it provides an ideal base for travelers seeking an affordable place to rest in a central area. However, there was an issue with mosquitoes due to the bathroom window being left open, resulting in a room filled with them upon arrival. Additionally, the hotel’s hidden location makes it challenging for taxi and shuttle drivers to find. For reference, the correct address is 19 Main Street, Ocho Rios, directly across from the Reno Gaming Casino.

There was not internet connection in my room (12). They no longer do breakfast, contrary to what their ads say. I had to ask for my room to be cleaned. The cash security deposit is annoying The is loud music at night

when we arrived at the property i saw the lady that checked us in and she didn't welcome us on arrival and her attitude was way off.as we were heading to check out,the lady at the front desk,her customer service was good she approach us before we even reach at door and ask us if we are checking out.she was even making much of my bady and that make me felt assure..the wifi didnt work at no time while at our stay,there was no iron&iron board as stated,no member of staff check to see if we were ok and not even a microwave or kettle was available to us.i like that the room was well kept and tidy,bathroom was comfortable and the furniture were in good condition.

Good day. Irons, iron boards, kettles and microwaves are not left in rooms but are always available once requested. Had you requested these items you would have received them except the microwave. There is a microwave in the office that guests are welcome to use during office hours. Apologies regarding the wifi. We will liase with our service provider to have it checked again. Lastly, staff members typically do not knock you up during your time of relaxation to check on you but will do so once you are encountered on property. Thank you for choosing us and we do hope you will have a better experience should you choose to stay with us in future.

The staff was unprofessional, one girl who seem to be house keeper and front desk was so unpleasant and full of attitude. I felt like I was begging someone to accommodate me. The last girl that checked me out was the most pleasant in comparison to the others. No kettle, microwave nor iron board in room. We were not told that we could request these until I ask the security where can I get some hot water and use a microwave. He said the office was not open and that’s where I have to do it. The office wasn’t not open until after 9 and it was to be open from 8 am .

Great stay!
The service provided by the entire staff from front desk to security was excellent! We arrived kinda late and our reservation was not showing up but instead of turning us away they accommodated us so they could resolve the issue the following day. We had had a loooong and stressful day of travel so the kindness that was expressed to us was much needed. The issue was resolved the following day. The location is so close to the beach but also close to the everything else. The room was a fair size for us. There were not very many sockets for plugging things up but no big deal, we made it work. Even though the entire staff was amazing I want to acknowledge 3 people and I hope I get names correct. Ms Morrison, Ms Lee, and the housekeeper with the red hair (sorry I didn’t get her name) They were amazing and always ready to help! I would definitely stay here again!

The room was not serviced for cleaning. They charged our card twice for early check-in and the correction was not made until the following day because we had to wait on a specific individual to process the refund. Upon check out there was not proper paperwork to indicate that we paid our deposit in USD, so the security guard who was left with the responsibility of checking us out did not have the correct deposit amount nor the correct currency. After a lengthy debate, we received the deposit in JMD and only had the option of changing the JMD to USD at the airport which was expensive and therefore did not give us back our full USD50.00. No one wanted to take responsibility for the incompetence in service.

You are welcomed to send us your information directly so the balance of your deposit can be sent to you. Your card was charged twice in error and in order to avoid further complications a senior personnel would have had to issue you refund which was done as promised.Lastly, as is stated on our guest form that you would have been asked to read and sign, room cleaning/servicing requests should be made to the front office and no such request came in from you. Once again, we apologize. All the best.

It’s close to the beach and shopping areas and also to get food ,very noisy and rooms are small .Security was not professional but staff was friendly.Will book again if they corrected all flaws.There was a bar on complex that played loud music all night,property clean and well kept.

The towel rack in the bathroom fell off of the wall as did the toilet roll dispenser. There were ants in the bathroom. There were gnats flying around the outlets. The neighbors next to us blared their music until 3 a.m. after making off with our veranda chair. The beach was closed at 5:00 p.m. The whole area was sketchy and shady. If you are looking for a place with zero amenities, zero cleanliness, zero hot water, zero space, this is the location for you. If you want a place that is somewhat decent, keep moving. I would not recommend this dive to ANYONE not even to save a buck. Completely horrible. We stayed the first night bc we got in at five. Immediately contacted Expedia and then checked out first thing in the morning. The front desk worker came upstairs to verify our complaints/concerns and acted like this was the Ritz Carlton and this was the first time anyone had ever complained.

From the moment I arrived I immediately regretted my decision to book this place. The staff is absolutely rude and unprofessional. They act like you are there begging for a place to stay rather than paying. The room is very small. The area is very noisy until about 3-4 a.m. in the morning. I will never stay here again or recommend anyone to do so. HORRIBLE!!!

I reserved the room online using a credit card, then arrived to be told cash only. The good news is I walked away as the hotel is not in a safe location nor did it look remotely clean. I’m checking my credit card carefully to ensure it is not improperly charged by ocean view.
