  • Enjoy this comfortable and unique vacation cottage on Ocracoke Island. Clara de Luna offers a quiet, private location within walking distance to village activities, shops, galleries and restaurants.

    1 Bedroom, 1.5 Baths: First floor bedroom with Queen. Upstairs Sleeping Loft with King and adjoining half bath. The full bath offers a garden tub (4x6) and a shower stall.

    Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, flat screen cable TV and DVD player. Washer and dryer in ground level laundry shed.

    The exterior offers a large screened porch, sundeck, hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench.

    *Sheets and Towels are provided and your beds will be made for your arrival.

    No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Limit of 2 vehicles.

    Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

    First Floor: Open kitchen, dining and living area with TV. Bedroom with Queen bed. Full Bath with garden tub and separate shower. Laundry Room.

    Second Floor: Loft Bedroom with King bed and Half Bath.

Great vacation

The property on Tutles Lane is exactly as pictured on the Home Away site down to the slightly disheveled cushions on the sectional couch. Property was clean and suited our family of four perfectly. Property is tucked away from any traffic so it’s quiet and peaceful. A very easy walk or bike ride to all the restaurants and shops. Definitely recommend rented bikes. There’s no view of water from the property but it’s within a short distance so not a problem. My husband and I took advantage of the outdoor shower since there’s only one full bath. This kept us on schedule. Kitchen could use a dish drain for any hand washing although there is a dishwasher. We did send a message to the rental company about the condition of the ceiling fan on the screened in porch and the need for the TV cable to be better mounted. Both were addressed while we were at the beach one morning. Overall, a good experience. Thank you!
