"We decided at the desk to upgrade our stay to include "All Inclusive" food and beverages. It turned out to be a good decision as there were none of the usual restaurants or bars within easy walking distance of the hotel. There was easy access to a long white sandy beach with turquoise waters that many locals take advantage of. A boardwalk there stretched for miles providing a nice place to walk or run. The pools were top notch, featured some scheduled activities, live music, DJ, and bar service. The food was served buffet style and offered a wide variety of items for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. The bars were stocked well, but top shelf alcohol wasn't included in the AI package. Guests had a choice to dine inside or outside a a nice terrace with views of the sea. We used Bolt to book car service to Lagos and back. The rides were inexpensive and usually arrived to pick up in under 10 minutes. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped with a nice walk in shower Mini bar was included in the AI package. The hotel also provided entertainment in the evening to guests gathered in a large common area. The bar also provided comfortable seating and waiter service. We really enjoyed the perfect weather and the resort style stay here in Lagos. I should mention that there is construction underway next door with heavy machinery and cranes interrupting the view north. We were assigned a room that overlooked the construction site, but the hotel quickly accommodated us"

"The rooms were incredibly clean. The TV was large. The breakfast buffet was ANAZING!!!!! The pool was unusually poor. The pool is encl8sed by super tall buildings ome has active construction go8ng on and there is NO SUN"

"The best part of the stay was the location! So easy to walk to boat tours, the old town, beach, and grocery store. Room was spacious cool temp, and had wine glasses, opener and much more. Friendly staff, nice pool area with two bars. Never made it to the breakfast so can’t comment on that, but overall a lovely stay."

"It's a 5 star hotel and it shows. It is large, has plenty of amenities and resources for the guests. A few restaurants and a bar (admittedly we didn't get to try any). The breakfast was good. The pool was nice and comforting on the hot days we had. The hotel room was very spacious. And the bathroom was larger than I'm used to. We'd been in other hotels durong our Portugal trip that were quite small, so this was a welcome change. Overall we loved this hotel. I saw other reviews mention the hotel seemed outdated and needed renovations. I see where they are coming from, however we did not find it to be as bad as others commented it was. I think they were overreacting, especially considering the other hotels available in that area. For the low price we paid, our stay was magnificent. We are glad we stayed here."

"The best thing about this hotel is its location. Its a clean hotel with great staff. The beach is a long walk from the hotel but its beautiful. You do not need water shoes here. The beach is all smooth sand . There are numerous restaurants and shopping all within walking distance to the hotel as well as tours. So great location. I do recommend this hotel to future tourists. Only negative was the room we were assigned. Its on the left side of the front desk, very old rooms, large with large balcony. To access the room we had to go down some beautiful but deeply winding stairs. To go to breakfast we had another set of beautiful but very winding stairs. This area was not safe for seniors with those stairs, yet many seniors were assigned those rooms. I would recommend to the hotel not to put seniors in that area of their hotel."

"The rooms were clean when we arrived but the kitchen had oils or left over residue on the handles so felt a bit gross opening and closing them. The tables were definitely were not wiped and some of the furnishing had been water stained but that's from other guest usage. Bed comfy enough tho. Bath looked a bit gross. Don't know if it's residue staining or mould or just dirty."
