Location good. The rest less so.

PROS: Excellent location! Good public parking and transportation at the door step. Quiet room (to the back yard). Hotel not without some charm. Breakfast was OK too. CONS: Bed was a bouncy trampolin. Bath room very basic and wet after showering. Pricing double-up due big concert event in town which feels unreasonable.

Nice hotel in the heart of Odense

We have stayed in Hotel Ansgar several times when we visit Odense. It's a classic city hotel, very conveniently placed in the heart of Odense. Not fancy but a solid bet! The hotel offers a limited amount of free parking spaces on the premises. Drive carefully, it's a tight spot... 3 EV charging stations are offered. Public paid parking / tramway just across the street. Staff is always very polite and attentive. Our room seems to have been renovated only a few years back. It was nice with ample room for two. Decent breakfast is offered daily. We will come back .

Die Unterkunft war dem Alter entsprechend gut. Die Betten waren groß und man konnte gut darin schlafen. Das Bad war klein und die Dusche eng. Das Frühstücksbuffet war mit allem was man braucht bestückt. Nahe an der Altstadt und den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Parkplätze sehr eng und nicht sehr viele vorhanden.

Établissement accueillant, parfait pour visiter le centre-ville à pied cependant un petit bémol quand nous avons une chambre qui donne directement sur la voie du tram. Ceci engendre du bruit, beaucoup moins si la fenêtre reste fermée. Le point fort est la collation offerte tous les après-midis et accompagnée de petits encas. Bon petit déjeuner également. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une place dr parking gratuite au pied de l'hôtel. Globalement très bien...

Descent dog-friendly hotel

This is a descent dog-friendly hotel to spend a night, a walking distance from the city center. The rooms are a bit worn out but clean. The hotel has limited parking in the back but it’s tight. However, at the end of the street there is a large private outdoor parking lot.

高齢者にはエレベータが有り難いです。到着客用のリフレッシュメントが嬉しい。チョコレートケーキや果物、ポップコーンetc. 土日はソフトクリーム製造機も設置！さて部屋が古くて暗いのが些か辛い。バスルームの換気も良くない。シャワーの湯温は満足だが勢い・湯量は心許ない。厳冬期の洗髪は辛そう！朝食はパンケーキが旨い！　総じてスタッフは純朴で親切なコスパ良いビジネスホテル。

Hotell med sjarm, ingen tvil. Gratis soft is og popcorn, bra serviceinstilt personale. Litt styrete med lading av bil, men gikk seg til med rette (enda en) app. Hotellet er gammelt, som det bærer preg av, men rommet var rent. Litt skitt som sikkert er vanskelig å fjerne i dusj, men ikke avskrekkende. Anbefales for par ferie.

Bra, rimelig hotell

Greit hotell til prisen, men det er veldig dårlig lydisolert. Vi hadde naboer som aldri har lært seg å bruke innestemme, og det føltes som om de stod inne i vårt rom og ropte. Det var også ingen ventilasjon, og det eneste alternativet for å få luft på rommet var et vindu som ikke kunne låses i posisjon, ut mot en vei med masse trafikk og letbane. Deilig frokostbuffet, genialt konsept med gratis snacks på ettermiddagen, og datteren vår fikk en morsom liten gave da vi sjekket inn. Alt i alt synes jeg hotellet er fint :)

God service fra personalet, søde og venlige, kage til kaffen og popkorn er vi ikke vant til 😊 mega god morgenmad. Vi var heldig at få parkeringsplads i gården, hvor det er først til møllen, så det var ok.

Dejligt sted, meget centralt, venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Lækker morgenmadsbuffet. Pænt badeværelse, men udluftningen larmede meget, og flere gange i over en time (!?), selvom jeg prøvede at lave gennemtræk også, og samtidigt larmede en anden, stor ventilator i gården også meget om natten, - Medbring ørepropper! Jeg undrede mig over lamperne på værelset; både den på skrivebordet og den ved sengen lyste med så hårdt og blændende et skær, der samtidigt ikke var godt at læse til, at jeg overvejede at gå ud og købe en lampe selv. Jeg endte dog med at dække den halvt til med et tørklæde og ellers kun bruge loftlyset. Dejligt og praktisk med eget strygejern og lille -bræt på værelset. Alt i alt kommer jeg gerne igen, - med ørepropper og egen lampe ;)
