The Rheingau is a wonderful place to explore by bike. Right in front of the house, there’s a bike rack with locks—or, by arrangement, you can securely store your bikes in the garage.

Hallgarten—between vineyards, forests, and the Rhine

Our town is nestled in the middle of the vineyards—with direct access to stunning hiking trails, forest paths, and the Rhine. Whether by bike, on foot, or with your dog: The region offers plenty of opportunities to be active or simply to unwind.
Highlights like the Hallgartener Zange with its panoramic views or the Rhine Trail, perfect for relaxing and watching the boats go by, are just around the corner.

Within walking distance, you’ll find everything your heart desires: wineries, cosy wine taverns, restaurants, a bakery (just 1 minute away!), a small supermarket, and a café with fantastic, homemade cakes and pies.
On hot days, head to the local outdoor pool—perfect for cooling off in between activities.
