"BEWARE. So many things wrong with this place. 1...reservation was for a handicap room, clerk said they didn't have one, got a king bed though! 2....room looked like someone had a party, glass in large picture on wall was broken, found afew pieces on floor. Tile around bathtub was cracked and broken. Shampoo holder in bathtub was ripped off wall. Bathroom sink was cracked and the toilet ran all the time. I told front desk but he didn't seem to care. 3...room was on 1st floor and all night someone above was stomping/running around, slamming doors. When I called front desk, no one answered. This went on until 3am. 4... NO one cleaned the room, nor supplied us with towels or toilet paper. Luckily we always carry tolet paper in our suitcase when traveling. 5... pool was disgusting. Green and shimmy We didn't dare try the free breakfast"

"I made a reservation here because it was one of the few in this part of town to include breakfast…WARNING! I was pressed for time before the last round of a golf tournament so all I needed was some eggs and sausage or bacon. You know, the standard almost every hotel provides. There were a few other options but it was nothing special… just a hotel breakfast. So I’m hurrying to get to the course and up comes a young lady with a charge slip for $13.87. I told her I wouldn’t sign it because my res was “including breakfast”. She picked up the charge and walked away. I thought nothing more of it until I received an email later in the day with the charges posted to my credit card. The room wasn’t cheap, the hotel was fairly quiet and I have no problem with the accommodations. But I’ll never stay here again. I feel like the victim of a “bait and switch”."

"There was no air conditioning in the lobby or hallways, which made for a hot/muggy experience. The side door (closest to the elevator) was "out of order" for the 2 days we stayed.The elevator was not very clean, and had a used band aid, on the floor for the entire stay. There was no safety certificate posted for the elevator, which might not seem like a big deal, but the elevator was slow and got "stuck" at each floor, for a brief period before the doors opened. The breakfast was very underwhelming. there was not a lot of selection, and what was there was old and cold. We have stayed at this same hotel many different times, in the past 10 years, but we decided there has been such a decline in quality, we will no longer stay her, at Parkwood."
