I always enjoy staying at the Stonefence. They are upgrading the pool area so that wasn't available to swim in, but the beautiful river was! I hope that opening the restaurant will work out for them (they were doing a "soft opening" during the stay). I loved my lunch out on the patio, reading my book and seeing the river.

Beautiful views of the St. Lawrence river. The original building is dated, but the rooms are spacious, quaint and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. Unlike a lot of hotels these days, there is also actual maid service. I was surprised that someone actually made the bed during my 2 night stay.

What a super staff. Very helpful and friendly take really good care of you. This place is so peaceful and quiet. I stayed an extra day just to rest up. It was great. I stay here again just sitting on the porch watching the boats go by was wonderful.

Nice place on the River

Easy check in and we drove our boat from our slip in Morristown to their docks. Had a slip ready for us, it was nice. Convenient, had dinner at TI Club at 615, and made it back at dusk. Nice day on the River! I would surely stay here again for date night. Awesome breakfast in the am to order, cook and staff were personable and very nice. Great location as well.

Our room was fairly large with a counter to eat on and two comfortable queen size beds. Loved the back patio which overlooked the river. You can see Canada across it. Very relaxing sitting there in Adirondack chair with my coffee and a book.
