A delightful characterful property in a beautiful hillside village.

We received a warm welcome from Josiane (the owner) who was very helpful and kind throughout our stay. The apartment was clean and well-appointed on our arrival and we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and peace of the surroundings. A car was an absolute necessity as Ogliastro is quite remote. We will definitely return to Corsica.

Un lieu magique

Je recommande chaudement le gîte de Josiane et Jean, authentique avec une deco d’époque et de vieux murs épais qui préservent de la chaleur, une vue à couper le souffle sur la mer dans la chambre à coucher ainsi qu’une localisation idéale à proximité de la rivière à pied et de la mer à 5 min e en voiture ! Les hôtes sont d’une grande gentillesse, on a été accueilli comme des rois avec notre bébé , ils ont même réussi à nous trouver une poussette de remplacement qui avait été cassée dans l’avion. Un lieu d’une grande poésie où l’on accède au cœur d’un village à une fenêtre idyllique sur la nature et la culture corses .

Posto incantevole tra mare e monti...

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo meraviglioso luogo, vacanza di relax totale, a 2 min in macchina e 20min a piedi c'è la meravigliosa spiaggia di Marina d'Albo. La spiaggia è di ghiaia e sassi, si consigliano delle calzature idonee. C'è un piccolo alimentari ben fornito e soprattutto con delle spettacolari brioches e pane fresco, consigliatissima la baguette céréales. C'è anche un bar pizzeria, la pizza è buona, non a livello di una italiana, ma si avvicina molto. L'appartamento è accogliente, ci si sente subito a casa, letti comodi e cucina fornitissima con addirittura una macchina Nespresso. A circa 300 metri c'è un ruscello con dei laghetti dove ci si può fare il bagno. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e super disponibili a dare tutte le informazioni di cui avete bisogno. Super consigliato per chi cerca una vacanza relax in famiglia. Ah, scordavo, mare spettacolare.

Sehr nette, idyllische Unterkunft

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und bemüht. Wir haben selbst angebaute Tomaten und Zwiebeln bekommen. Die Lage ist sehr abgelegen. Jedoch dafür sehr idyllisch. Man braucht ca. 1 Stunde zum nächsten großen Supermarkt. 1 kleiner Laden ist in Albu am Strand, wie auch ein Restaurant und eine Snackbar. Der Strand ist ein sehr schöner, sauberer Kiesstrand. In der Nähe der Unterkunft befinden sich tolle Badegumpen, die zu Fuss erreichbar sind. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und man findet alles was man braucht. Allerdings ist alles sehr einfach.

Herzlichen Dank, dass wir in dieser wundervollen Unterkunft unsere Ferien verbringen konnten.

Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr nett, es gab eine liebe Überraschung im Kühlschrank. Wir bedauern sehr, dass wir unsere Gastgeber nicht persönlich kennenlernen konnten. Das Dorf ist entzückend. Der Blick aus dem Fenster in die Berge oder auf das Meer einfach sensationell. Es gibt schöne Wanderungen direkt vom Dorf aus. Der Strand ist über einen sehr schönen Weg auch zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir werden ganz sicher wieder kommen.

Die Wohnung entsprach voll unseren Erwartungen – allerdings sollte man doch nur mit mx. 4 Personen dort übernachten. Ein kleines Schlafzimmer ist das Durchgangszimmer zum Bad. Ansonsten alles wirklich top – Vermieter nett, hilfbereit, sehr ruhige Lage, toller Blick vom Balkon ins Gebirge, Schlafzimmer blick zum Meer, Küche voll ausgestattet. Ogliastro eignet sich sowohl zum Wandern (Vorsicht: Wege mangelhaft ausgeschildert, gute Karte unerlässlich), Baden (Meer und Gebirgsbach). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind allerdings nur sehr eingeschränkt vorhanden – sehr kleiner Laden mit dem nötigsten in Albu.

2ième séjour encore mieux!

Notre 2ième séjour à Ogliastro était encore mieux que le premier! L'appartement est spacieux, confortable et très charmant avec une vue magnifique sur la rivière et les montagnes. Ogliastro est un petit paradis calme avec la mer et la rivière en proximité. Nous avons bien profité de la mer et cette fois nous avons pu faire plusieurs promenades superbes en nature. La filles des propriétaires et sa famille nous ont acueillis avec gentillesse et étaient toujours très gentils - merci! C'est sûr que nous reviendrons!

Un pur bonheur

Que dire pour notre premier voyage en Corse,c’etait fabuleux. Un appartement très spacieux où rien ne manque ,une vue sur la mer ou sur les montagnes, un grand moment de détente sur la terrasse avec vue sur le torrent que l.ont entend que c’est reposant. Des propriétaires Josiane et Jean qui sont adorables et au petit soin pour ses hôtes ,merci pour tout ,n'hésitez pas à découvrir le village d’Ogliastro à la tombée de la nuit,c’est très agréable et bien sûr le village de Nonza et sa plage,Calvi,Île Rousse,Centuri et bien d.autres ,les paysages à couper le souffle,les parfums du désert des Agriate,les fleurs bref nous avons adorés ... Wir hatten in Ogliastro einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub. Die Wohnung ist groß, einzigartig und sehr schön gelegen. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen phantastischen Ausblick auf den Fluss. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Man kann wunderbar spazieren oder wandern und im Fluss oder im Meer schwimmen gehen. Geeignet für alle, die einen erholsamen und ruhigen Urlaub möchten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

la maison idéale traditionnelle corse alliant baignade en rivière et bord de mer

Le charme fou de l'ancien, doté de tout le confort actuel dans cette vaste habitation de caractère où l'accueil simple, généreux et bienveillant de ses propriétaires, Mme et M. Santelli, nous est allé droit au coeur! Nous avons savouré les repas en terrasse avec vue sur la rivière et agrémentés du murmure de l'eau. Au loin la mer, et tout en haut les crêtes. Nous nous sommes délectés des mille charmes environnants de cette côte sauvage qui a gardé son authenticité! Nous reviendrons à Ogliastro dans ce gîte de caractère!
