"The view of the harbor from the 2nd story porch was very picturesque - the noise from the boats or the ferry never bothered us. There was a general store nearby for some supplies, but most shopping required a bigger store. The location was near enough to Paihia for restaurants when we didn't feel like cooking. The kitchen was well equipped and had enough stainless steel countertop to make workspace for the cutting boards, etc. The 2 under-counter fridges were sufficient for our needs. The beds...

"Beautiful scenic and quiet property to relax and enjoy. The hosts were welcoming, friendly, helpful and very approachable and flexible. The property is as portrayed in the listing, plenty of room for our family and only 5 minutes drive from town. We would be happy to stay again. Lovely treats left to welcome us too, thank you :-)"

"Robert’s apartment was ideal for our 9 day stay in Paihia. Loads of room in the apartment, and the location couldn’t have been better. We could walk to everything in town. The kitchen was well appointed, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was updated. Robert was responsive to all our questions and most accommodating. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sanctuary Palms everything is set up to allow for a relaxing stay. The photos really don’t do it justice it is a beautiful home from home. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. We were a little worried about negative reviews about the parking situation and yes, it is tight but it’s only a short walk to find plenty of free on street parking which we favoured so that our large rental car didn’t cause any bother to other guests.
