"Excellent room, comfort of bed was great, both slept very well, well appointed room & size. Everything we needed to heat our tea was there, microwave, microwave dish, plates, spoons, toaster, good tasting water etc. Manager helpful with walk information, so made a nice 13km walk to start the day."

"The Heartland Hotel was a good place to stay at after visiting the glaciers on the way to Queenstown. The hotel was comfortable and the restaurant and bar were very convenient on site, although you have to walk outside from your room to get to it. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is older but was still well kept and the room was clean and comfortable. Parking was right outside to room. "
