"The room needs upgrading. Full size bed on a queen frame, desk/dresser needs replacing. Drawers weren't working well and the countertop looks like someone sat on it. No chair to sit on and the chair that was outside the door was broken. When the shower was used by the person in next room, pipes made a bad noise. But I did hear they were in the process of remodeling units. Otherwise it was close to town and the lake."

"It was a short little getaway for me and my husband. The stream right outside the house is lovely, the cabin is clean and well stocked. The bed is comfortable. And we had a great time. The check-in process was smooth and the hosts were easy to get a hold of. It was also pet friendly."

"The check in area was hard to find ... our GPS brought us to an empty construction lot nowhere near the resort. Once we got checked in it was good. The restaurants were a little slow, but we understood there was an event in the off season. We enjoyed our weekend at the SIDRA motorcycle race. We hope to come back next year and hope they will be running the lifts for the spectators to watch from the top."

"Greg and Cheryl are great to work with. The venue has a lot to offer and I like that it is all so close. We have done our annual church Men's Retreat at River Canyon the last 2 years and have been very satisfied and all of our men have regarded it as a success. I feel the set up is particularly suited for men as it is rustic with animal mounts, animal photos, and animal and tree themed rooms. For groups in that 50-65 range, it is an ideal venue. And I like that it is relatively close to Treasure Valley."

""Lucky Cabin" is nice. On arrival I found it clean and ready for me - but...I found a few things likely left behind by prior visitors that I just said, "Uhhh, no." and left it where I found it. The only major improvement I would appreciate is local TV options (cable or antenna if either is an option in the neighborhood), better cell coverage (zero to two bars and probably not something the owner can readily improve), and Internet coverage (there is none). Cell service with my provider was very spotty (hint: Go to the kitchen! LOL). I only had to make one phone call, but it was spotty and eventually just dropped out altogether. There is a good selection of DVD videos in the cabin, but I found a few cases empty (no disk) and the ones I did happen to choose to try were fingerprinted and scratched, resulting in poor performance.Note that with all that said, yes, I would absolutely stay there again."
