The Luxury Poolhouse, Casa 2 at Casa de Shelley Corozal, Belize

"The pool house is fairly small but it is perfect for two people. It had just about anything you could need; ironing board, iron, pool towels, extra bath towels, TV with access to things like Netflix, washer/dryer, etc. The thing that impressed us most was that the refrigerator was already stocked with food when we got there; different kinds of beer, cheese, bagels, sodas, apples. That was great!!!! It saved us from having to go to a restaurant a couple of times. The pool kind of felt like it was all ours. The renters in the house used the pool during the day and my wife and I used it at night. There isn’t much to improve upon we really enjoyed our stay. If I could recommend anything, it would be to remove one bush to the left of the gate as you are pulling out onto the road. It blocks your vision of what is coming so you really have to be careful as you are pulling out."

"The complementary breakfast was cooked to order with a lot of great options - and the fresh fruit was delicious. We didn't realize before we arrived that each casita is privately owned and rented out, but it didn't really impact our stay. 9a is lovely and private. The staff were all friendly and helpful."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Our room was clean, organized, and comfortable. A special highlight was Zeus, the hotel’s cute, loving, and friendly dog! He was such a sweet addition and made our stay even more memorable. Overall, a lovely place to stay, and we would happily come back!"

"Staff members were very helpful and friendly. The building was funky, in a good way, and in a great location, near the water and with lots of options for good food. Free coffee and water coolers were great amenities. Corozal is definitely worth a visit, and the Mirador is a great place to stay!"
