Fairview Lodge on 4th Lake

  • Welcome to Fairview Lodge, a beautiful custom home with a guest cottage located on the north shore of Fourth Lake, perfectly situated between Old Forge and Inlet.
    The main house features a great room with a large, open floor plan that combines the living and dining areas. A central stone fireplace adds warmth and sliding doors from the living room lead to a deck facing the lake. The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a center island, and an expansive dining area with two tables, providing ample seating. The main house offers four comfortable bedrooms, two and a half full bathrooms, cathedral ceilings, and Adirondack touches throughout.
    Outside, a spacious and level lawn extends to the water’s edge, where you’ll find a sandy-bottom swimming area. A break wall is available for boat tie-up. The upper deck also provides a shaded, covered patio area below, which is ideal for relaxing on warm summer days.
    The guest cottage includes two bedrooms, one bathroom, an efficiency kitchen, and a living room.
    Sleeping arrangements in the main house include two king beds, one queen bed, one full bed, and three twin beds. In the guest house, there are two king beds and a bunk with two twin beds.
    Amenities offered include a horseshoe pit, fire pit, WiFi, smart TV, washer and dryer in both the main house and guest cottage, a dishwasher, propane grill, and a drip coffee maker.
    We welcome well-behaved dogs for an additional fee.

This is our family's 4th annual trip to the ADKs and this property was perfect for our ever growing family. We've learned over the years things we like/need to accommodate us. The extra cottage was great to have a separate place for us to stay with our two littles that are up early to not disturb the rest. The large open kitchen and dining table made it easy for our large family! The views of the lake and wildlife were stunning; several mallards, loons and deer on the property. We had an issue with the dryer in the main house so it was nice that cottage had a washer/dryer as well. The host was quick to respond in regard to that and compensated us a bit for the hassle which wasn't expected but a nice surprised! 5-10 minute drive from Inlet/Old Forge and walking trail access to Sis/Bubb Lake trail right across the road. Mountainside Smokehouse restaurant right at the entrance to the property, food and staff were fantastic!
