  • Your Own Private Mountain Escape — 30 Acres of Adventure, Relaxation & Memories

Escape the ordinary and discover 30 private acres of mountain magic in Old Fort, North Carolina!

This secluded retreat offers peace and privacy without sacrificing access to some of Western North Carolina's most popular destinations, including Black Mountain, Asheville, and Lake James.

Tucked away in the beautiful woodlands of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this one-of-a-kind mountain getaway offers the best of both worlds. Here, you don't have to choose between peaceful relaxation and family fun—you can have both!

Imagine soaking in a bubbling hot tub beneath the stars, challenging your favorite people to a game of pool, swaying in a hammock beneath the trees, or wandering a woodland trail where a little imagination brings the forest to life.

Welcome to Mount Hebron, where relaxation meets adventure, and some of the best memories happen when you least expect them.

Whether you're planning a romantic weekend, a family vacation, a getaway with friends, or a mountain adventure with your four-legged companion, you'll find room to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of Western North Carolina.

With a cozy main house, a separate game house with an upstairs bedroom, and an entire woodland wonderland waiting outside, Mount Hebron is more than a place to stay—it's an experience to remember.

THE MOUNTAIN RETREAT — TWO UNIQUE SPACES, ONE UNFORGETTABLE GETAWAY

Tucked away among the trees, Mount Hebron combines rustic mountain charm with the comforts of home.

The property features three private bedrooms spread across two separate buildings, along with a convertible sleeper sofa in the main house. This arrangement is ideal for families, couples, and groups who enjoy spending time together while having a little extra space and privacy.

    THE MAIN HOUSE

The main house serves as the heart of the retreat, where everyone can come together for meals, relaxing evenings, and quality time.

    Inside, you'll find:

    Two private bedrooms
Two full bathrooms, including an ensuite bathroom
A comfortable living area with a sofa that converts into an additional bed
A kitchen for preparing everything from morning coffee to family dinners
Heating and cooling for year-round comfort
A Pack 'n Play for families traveling with little ones

    THE SEPARATE GAME HOUSE

Just outside the main house, you'll find a second building featuring an entertainment area downstairs and a third private bedroom upstairs.

The game house bedroom is separate from the main house, offering a more private sleeping space for guests who enjoy having their own retreat.

Across both buildings, the three bedrooms feature one king-size bed and two queen-size beds. The main house sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping space.

Please note that the game house is a separate building, and guests must walk outdoors to travel between the two spaces. Both full bathrooms are located in the main house.

Wake up slowly, enjoy your morning coffee, and let the mountain air remind you that there's nowhere else you need to be.

YOUR OWN GAME HOUSE — LET THE COMPETITION BEGIN!

Why settle for a vacation rental with a few board games when you can enjoy an entire separate building dedicated to entertainment?

One of Mount Hebron's most exciting features is its game house, where rainy days, family game nights, and friendly competitions become part of the adventure.

    Let the games begin with:

    Pool table for friendly competition
    Foosball for fast-paced fun
    Indoor basketball arcade game
    Tabletop shuffleboard
    Giant Jenga and other games
    TV and lounge area
Mini fridge for your favorite drinks and snacks

Challenge your friends to a pool tournament, enjoy an evening of laughter over foosball, or let the kids enjoy some friendly competition while the adults unwind.

Rainy day? No problem! Sometimes the best part of a mountain getaway is staying in.

HOT TUB NIGHTS & FIRESIDE MEMORIES

After a day of exploring the mountains, slip into the bubbling hot tub and let your worries melt away.

As the evening settles in, gather around the outdoor fire pit, roast marshmallows, share stories, or simply enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

Challenge someone to a game of cornhole, relax with a drink, or sit back and watch the stars appear above the trees.

There's something special about slowing down, breathing in the mountain air, and spending quality time with the people who matter most.

Whether you're looking for romance, relaxation, or laughter around the fire, the best evenings don't always require leaving the property.

30 PRIVATE ACRES — YOUR OWN WOODLAND WONDERLAND

Step outside and discover one of Mount Hebron's most extraordinary features: 30 acres of private mountain property just waiting to be explored.

Wander through the wooded surroundings, listen to birds singing overhead, and experience the peaceful beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Find your favorite spot in the hammock hangout, featuring three hammocks nestled among the trees—perfect for reading a book, afternoon naps, quiet conversations, or simply watching the leaves dance overhead.

Explore the woodland walking trail, discover little surprises along the way, or simply enjoy being surrounded by nature.

Here, your schedule can be as adventurous—or as wonderfully uneventful—as you want.

A MAGICAL WOODLAND ADVENTURE FOR LITTLE EXPLORERS

There's more to discover in these woods than meets the eye!

Hidden among the trees is a whimsical woodland adventure trail designed to spark imagination, inspire curiosity, and bring a little childhood magic to life.

Follow the trail through the forest and discover a miniature world where fairies, gnomes, and imaginative woodland characters turn an ordinary walk into an unforgettable adventure.

    Little explorers can enjoy:

Discovering fairy and gnome characters hidden throughout the trail
Building their own fairy houses using natural materials
Exploring imaginative woodland scenes and surprises
    Playing in the woodland sandbox
    Discovering a cozy reading nook
Enjoying creative activities and interactive trail adventures

Our woodland storybook and activity experience adds another layer of fun, encouraging children and families to explore, imagine, and discover together.

It's more than a walk through the woods. It's an invitation to put down the screens, embrace imagination, and experience the kind of childhood wonder that doesn't come from a television or a tablet.

And the magic isn't just for kids! Parents, grandparents, and anyone young at heart are welcome to join the adventure.

Children should explore the woodland trail with adult supervision. Natural woodland terrain may be uneven.

    BRING YOUR FOUR-LEGGED FAMILY MEMBERS

Because some adventures are better when the whole family comes along—including those with four paws!

Mount Hebron welcomes pets, so you don't have to leave your furry companion behind when it's time for a mountain escape.

Others are about remembering how good it feels to simply be together.
