"Property is in bad need of renovating. Everything was old and a bit tattered. ( dining chairs, bedspreads, etc. ) Was not enough water pressure to wash my daughter’s hair. A/c worked but squealed like crazy off and on all night. breakfast buffet was decent and beds were comfortable. No working ice machines on all three floors!"

"Mixed opinion. The Bad: AC wall unit was so noisy in room 136. It clicked on and off about every 5 minutes. The mattress was stiff and uncomfortable. Bad sleep for all of us. The Good: Staff at the check in and during the continental breakfast were so friendly! Only 5 minutes drive from the Canton market and many food options around (Dairy Palace was a great, country food restaurant treat). Room 136 is on the side of the hotel and away from the pool, making it a bit more quiet, but again, the AC made it loud anyways. No hair conditioner, so take your own. "

"The cabin had everything we needed, and the master BR was huge!Fishing was decent - plenty of panfish and small bass with a few good-sized ones mixed in. The assortment of watercraft was super nice to have.We would definitely stay here again - thanks!"

"The tub look like someone broke a hole in to it and the put a patch to fix it instead of properly replace it. Pipes sticking out and the caulking was old and moldy. The room was clean but watch the bed frames because it has two sharp steel pieces sticking out and they can cut you. Continental breakfast is the worse I have run in to all the choice properties!"

"We rented this property for our 3-day family reunion, and overall it was a pleasant stay. Check-in was smooth, and the host was helpful enough to text me the exact Google Maps location since the entrance can be easy to miss.The property itself worked well for our family gathering, but there are a few things future renters should know. The rental is located very close to the host’s home, so if you are expecting complete privacy, this may not be the best fit because the hosts can see most of the activity on the property.One disappointment was that we brought our registered ATV to ride on the secluded country roads nearby, but shortly after arriving, the host texted to say that ATVs and side-by-sides were not allowed on the property. This restriction was not mentioned anywhere in the online listing or house rules. Since the only way off the property was via the long driveway, we ultimately decided not to ride at all.I mentioned to the host that I wished this policy had been disclosed in advance, since I assumed riding would be allowed due to the amount of land and absence of any written restriction, the response felt unnecessarily sarcastic and rude. I was asked, “So you thought you could just ride your ATV on someone’s land just because there is a lot of land?” I explained that my assumption was based solely on the fact that it was not listed as prohibited in the property policies. The interaction left a negative impression and could have been handled more professionally."
