This cozy 1 bedroom condo is right across the street from the Beach! Wake up to an amazing sunrise and enjoy everything the 7-mile beach has to offer. Relax in a well-furnished, clean, well disinfected and cozy condo. Work remotely and stream on fast Wifi. 50" Roku TV. Brand new kitchen, new queen bed & new futon that will comfortably sleep 2 kids or one adult. FREE onsite parking. Second car is $20 per night. A short walk to the the Pier, Amusement Park, & lots of places to eat
Please note this is a first floor unit. Washer and dryer machine is in the utility room in the back of the building and you have a key on your keychain for it.
Also the train runs in the back of the property. If you are a light sleeper do not book

Not as nice as some other places we have stayed in OOB, but for the price and closeness to the beach and pier its great. It is right up against the train tracks which wasn’t horrible for us, but could be a significant problem for a light sleeper.

Details matter

Bring your own linen if you plan on using pull out couch. Also it’s not a 2 bedroom but a 1 bedroom with full size pullout couch in sitting area which is good for kids only. You have to go through private bedroom to access bathroom. Only 1 Ac in the unit located in the private bedroom so if you close the door to the bedroom the sitting area does not get AC.

Needs upgrades, this is not a two bedroom, it has one bedroom with a broken sofa bed in the living room. The shower drain was clogged, the barbeque was filthy, there were soft spots in the floor, the back door emergency exit is blocked by a bed frame, and there were holes in the back yard from dogs and a wasp nest in the cement on the back porch. The fridge was small and wouldn't open all the way because it was hitting the wall. Location was great, good neighborhood and just a few blocks from the pier. Maps showed this in 4 different places and seller did not communicate when trying to find and check in.

We found everthing acceptable except for the furniture in the living room. There was only one couch, uncomfortable. There is no relaxing chair.

This was listed as a two bedroom and it is definitely not. Also the beds were totally uncomfortable.

Vacation

The property was a bit miss represented. Not two bedrooms and no mention of backing up to railroad tracks. Train went buy 7, 8 times a day. The linens were basic and I felt like I was in a dorm room. Location to beach was nice but not quite what I expected. Laundry was a great feature. Kind of run down. Felt like the bare minimum. Would not rent this property again. View was poor.

The real deal. EXTREMELY small. train track borders back yard. Super tiny living room. the kitchen: literally stove, fridge (that doesn’t fully open in the small space) and sink. All night you get hourly train horn and shaking building. Fun for kids (sarcasm noted?) Location great as far as beach access and a quick walk to shopping and bars and the amusement area - and located on a quieter end of the strip. but admittedly we wouldn’t come back and we’re disappointed in condition of the rental. For the price you can get much nicer quality right there in the same area. Sleeper sofa completely broken and taped together (took pics and vids). Kids were to sleep in pull out sofa but that wasn’t an option. Simple details weren’t taken care of - example: completely rusted out tension bar for shower curtain. Half used bottles of no name shampoos / body wash left under sink - were they from a previous guest? If so toss it. From the host? Try something that feels like you tried - travel sizes of decent products can be bought in bulk cheap. the shower had the shampoo/conditioner pumps installed but one was empty and the other had crusty product in the bottom. The rental also had a really intense smell like a blend of maple syrup and an oak candle haha. It was overpowering like a cheap air freshener that didn’t go away the whole weekend. We had friends meets us there to go to the beach and just at the door the first comment was the horrible smell. Wouldn’t return and fell ripped off

Beware of the Train that runs by every hour about 5 yards from where the bedroom is located

I will never use VRBO again. The description of this rental is way off. The toilet is cracked so bad, the bathroom smells very strongly of urine due to the crack. The floor around the toilet seems to be rotting and the tiling around the toilet sounds crunchy when you step on it. I was afraid the toilet was going to go through the flooring. I would not shower in the shower provided as it was disgusting. The air conditioner is coated in mold and mildew and is located about 1 foot away from the head of the bed. This is an older unit that has not been cleaned. The train....the one that is not listed in the description....this train is only a few yards away from the head of the bed. The train runs by every hour and when it does, the horn of the train is blown about 2-4 times and the entire building shakes. If you are a family traveling; please be aware that this will be a very uncomfortable stay. The host was rude when I complained and the only concern was when will I be checking out. Since VRBO would not help in any way and the host was not owning the fact that this is a slum....I did not check out. I went to a hotel where luckily I had points that I could use, otherwise I would have been paying for the VRBO rental and the hotel. I used the VRBO rental as a parking spot and bathroom (it was cleaner than the public beach bathrooms just as long as I didn't actually sit on the toilet for fear if it crack or falling through the floor). I have pictures.

Close, Convenient, Fun!

This was the perfect place for a get away with a close group of family or friends. It is walking distance from the beach and boardwalk attractions. The host was fantastic and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Horrible. When we arrived at the property we immediately noticed that the unit was FREEZING inside. To be specific it was 52 in the unit. Tried getting the heat to come on and had no luck. Not only did we have that issue but we saw that the very cheap futon that was supposed to be the second bed was broken. We immediately tried contacting the owner who did not reply. We had to book at another hotel since we had two kids with us. We also contacted the company we booked through who also couldn’t reach the owner. After finally getting the company to reach the owner. The owner proceeded to lie about the condition of the unit. He was extremely rude, condescending, attempted to threaten to report us to other properties. This owner cares nothing about the quality of his rental. Even without the other issues, the unit was old, outdated, run down.

Location close to everything we needed to access. Easy to check in, and the right size for a night.

Needed a place for one night while we celebrated my wife’s 40’th. The place was perfect to access where I rented a space to throw the party.

Good Stay...Wish We'd known more

Overall, we had a nice stay at this property. The space was enough for our family of 4, but the unit is rather small. We were grateful to be able to have our dog with us, which was a major plus. The kitchen seems new and is well stocked, though quite small (the fridge is mini). The unit is just a two minute walk across the street to the beach and a short walk to the boardwalk area. There were some things we wished we had known. For example, and most importantly, there are train tracks directly behind the condo and trains go by many times throughout the night and they are loud! We were surprised no one mentioned this. The bathroom is quite old and the fixtures are coming off, though it was clean and functional. There were stains on the ceiling tiles and the blinds in the bedroom were broken. Despite these things, we had a nice stay and the owner was responsive and helpful when we were having trouble using the tv.
