"Getting there - They have a shuttle that runs to and from the airport. It runs when there are planes to meet. Good location, you can walk to many things in town. Drug store (with ice cream counter) next door. There is a grocery store a few blocks away. The hotel restaurant was very good. I enjoyed the halibut on pasta and it was very good. "We were fortunate enough to have some sunshiney days on our visit. Sitka was spectacular and easy to explore on your own, renting a bike to get to hikes… no rental car needed. Gorgeous relaxing view
"This cozy cabin provides the ultimate Sitka view! It’s a perfect size for two couples. Even with dreary weather during our visit we were able to enjoy the tide pools in the backyard and sip coffee watching the boats cruise in front of Mt. Edgecumbe. The hosts were very accommodating and the cabin was clean and equipped for our arrival. Hope to stay at Raven’s Roost again!"
