"Our room was in the old section and it was charming. Clean and comfortable and fairly large. The breakfast buffet was substantial and the food fresh. Dinner was lovely. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was professional. Excellent wine list. The bar was also nice. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. The location was quite convenient and parking is right across the street. We highly recommend."

"We chose the hotel on the basis of the photos of the old monastery and its cloisters, and it didn’t disappoint. An initial problem with our allocated accommodation was quickly and efficiently dealt with, and we were given a very pleasant two bedroomed apartment on the first floor (easily accessible by lift for anyone with limited mobility) with seating area, dining table and kitchenette. There was a large bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate loo, which was handy for four people sharing. Everything was immaculately clean. Our only quibble was a lack of anywhere to hang clothes, particularly as the rooms were big enough to accommodate at least a rail with hangers. The location of the hotel is excellent - just a stone’s throw from the Place des Cordeliers and within easy walking distance of the fantastic Place de la Libération and the palace of the Dukes of Burgundy. The breakfast, served in one of the vaulted rooms of the monastery, was really excellent. A generous, comprehensive selection of high quality food which set us up for the day."

"Incredibly central location that allowed us to easily walk everywhere in town. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, even for a large group of people like ours (9!). Very hard working staff made our stay a memorable experience. Only one warning: you will need to park your vehicle in a public parking just about 100 meters away. Great bargain for the money!"
