"Very nice small hotel. Within walking distance of many of the sites and the river. Free parking and a nice breakfast buffet. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Comfortable large room. The patio for eating or relaxing was very pleasant. As you drive up to the hotel, it's good location and nice benefits are not apparent, but become clear as you wander around the neighborhood."

"Biggest complaint is towards Hotels.com way of dealing with reservations - they do not provide direct number to call. It is an old apartment building that remind of communal apartments back in 60ies in Soviet time and there are NO mention of River apartments on outside of building or anywhere inside if you get past door lock with a code. Only way to reach owners and get instruction on how to get into building and get keys is by calling a Hotels.com number - in USA. I after getting really upset...

"We had no information about checking in, had to call, wait behind a door for additional half an hour until got code/keys. Tiny room is in a third floor. Carrying luggage was difficult. There was two door upstairs, one to room was crooked, hard to lock/unlock. Washer in a picture- doesn’t exist in room. But you can rent sauna there. Two ceiling windows are noisy if raining and tiny window to street is terrible noisy to leave open, since it’s directly to multiple bars and restaurants. No other...

"Lithuania will never be known as a friendly country, but the service here was excellent. The hotel is in a quite part of the city by the castle.
Lithuanians are not a friendly people, far from it, but the staff was gracious and always greeted me when I would enter or leave.
It truly make my stay in Lithuania, which was really unbearable, much better.
Thank you!

"Great hotel. Nice and clean, quiet but likely because it was middle of the week in September. No air conditioning but that was ok for us as it was 65F/18C and we were able to keep windows open for fresh air.
Staff was friendly. Breakfast at the restaurant was great. "

While Paupiai isn't home to many top sights, Akropolis Shopping and Entertainment Centre and Old Ferry Terminal are some notable places to visit nearby.
"Very nice, spacious, clean room! Nice amenities. Breakfast very good with large variety. Parking convenient and inexpensive. Bed very comfortable with great pillows."
"Great hotel. Well located in the heart of the old town. Service couldn't be friendlier. Comfort and atyle are present of course but there is a little something more. Especially with morning breakfast. "
"The location was great. Very spacious and comfortable place. Check-in, we weren’t told we had to get to the apartment from the canal side or that it was top floor by stairs only. We were helped by a lady who lived on the other side apartments to find our block. The microwave was broken. We ran out of toilet paper and no replacements and there were hairs still in the shower drain. The towels were also damp and musty. Not many implements to cook with, so glad we only had 1 night. There was music until after midnight which we could not stop by closing windows, but it was a Saturday night, so not sure about others. "
