"We spent two beautiful nights in the upper lookout, toured the property, and ate breakfast and dinner prepared by Chef Eric during our stay. Eric and Nicole have built a beautiful off-grid glamping experience. Bathrooms and showers were clean and sinks with running water were available for washing up. The yurts were clean and comfortable, with panoramic views of the valley below. We drove a Tesla Y, which was not optimal for the climb up the hill, but it managed fine! No superchargers in Sandpoint- but if you have an adapter, the Chevy dealership 15 min away has a fast charger. The kids loved meeting the goats, chickens, pigs, and the friendly pack of pups that keep the property free of predators. We definitely suggest enjoying meals onsite. The farm-fresh meat and produce were delicious, the preparation was creative, and atmosphere was a cross between chefs table and dinner on a friend’s patio. We timed our stay to attend a concert at the Festival at Sandpoint, spent the afternoon playing at Schweitzer mountain, ate pizza at The Forge (highly recommend!), and cooled off at the Sandpoint beach park. We plan to return!"

"Debbie is one of the best hosts we have ever had. She communicates well and clearly, and is friendly.The property is almost ideal. We had extremely hot weather and were worried that with the western exposure it could heat up quickly later in the day, but without any air conditioning, it stayed incredibly cool inside.The deck is perfect with a nice patio table, two lounge chairs, and an immaculate view. We barbecued each evening and watched the sunset.The home is one of the most well-appointed we have ever stayed in. There are tons of towels and blankets available. There is a little bit of every kind of OTC medicine you might need, the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials like spices, Ziplocs, coffee, etc.The bed is comfortable and we slept well because it was cool inside.Here are our wishlist items for this property: a dishwasher! Ha! But we have stayed in many places without one. A smart TV would be nice, but also not as important at the Lake where we don't watch much TV. And, access to the water.We did walk down into Coolin and visit the water there, which is very close. Having the Leonard Paul Store and the coffee shop so close and walkable was a huge advantage! But, it did mean we ate too much pie.Overall, we would not only definitely stay here again, but we would highly recommend it to friends and family!"

"Huckleberry Haus is an absolute gem of a property. The cabin was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked for a family who likes to eat in. Enjoying a morning coffee on the deck was a definite highlight! The hosts of this property are very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be back for more fun on the mountain. Thank you for over delivering on this great property!"

"It is the perfect spot to relax. Our hosts have thought of absolutely everything. You are spoiled by the extras. The builder did an impeccable job on this wood cabin. It is surrounded by trees, deer, turkey, quail, etc. We especially enjoy our porch sitting early morning sipping coffee. This was our second visit and we hope to be back again."
