"We visited Hotel Savoy in Meribel in mid March for a three night ski trip. The hotel is located absolutely in the centre of Meribel , a short walk from thew Tourist office which has an escalator which allows you to access a is run into the main Chaudanne ski area. "I was there in the final week of the season, with the Residence mostly full, the hotel section closed, and minimal staff (Pierre really was our knight in shining armour), but the experience was still excellent. "Appartement and location were very good overall. It’s ski in ski on a popular run so that’s great. The checkout procedure really lets the whole experience down and hurried they ask you to remove all bed linen and towels and place them in bags outside of the door on top of cleaning the kitchen and removing rubbish. If the cleaners are changing bed linen they can already remove it. They want you out prior to 10am after all this is done. "

"This was our second family ski holiday staying at Madame Vacances Hotel Le Mottaret and we have been very impressed on both occasions. The very helpful and friendly staff are excellent. The location of the hotel is right next to the slope, a 30 second stroll from the hotel entrance. There is a ski equipment hire shop on the premises which is very convenient. The lounge/bar area is very comfortable and cosy after a day on the slopes, as well as the very soothing jacuzzi located outside at the front of the hotel. The swimming pool/spa area is also very relaxing. We stayed on half-board. The buffet breakfast is fantastic and each evening there was a different theme for the buffet dinner. We really enjoyed every meal! Our room was clean and comfortable and the shower was amazing! We would thoroughly recommend a stay here and we hope to be back again soon too!"
