Nice clean stay

The house was clean and comfortable with ample room for our large group. If you are looking for something nice but no frills in good neighborhood, this is it.

Easy check in, location worked great for us. Enough beds and lovely kitchen. We had a smell as entered the home. Couldn’t find it until going to put towels in the washer when we were leaving and it was a rug that was in the washer that had moldy wet, sitting long time in there smell. Downstairs bed was not completely made when we arrived but was comfortable. Pillows very hard. For our very quick stay, it worked for us for a wedding we went to. Could be very nice stay with different pillows and no smell.

The creaky floorboards and couch (directly above the basement bedroom) made sleeping a little hard. More washclothes, bath mats, and sealing the basement shower enclosure would be appreciated. Overall though a good price and location for the need.

Everything was great they should really put something over the blinds in the main floor bedroom cause the light that comes through wakes you up and who ever cleans need to make sure they clean the microwave but other then that we all loved it

Sweet older home

We enjoyed our stay overall in this sweet older home! We had everything we needed and plenty of space for our group. We did notice the shower downstairs had a gap on the hinge side and the shower door didn’t shut/seal all the way so we had to keep a towel on the ground for these two places. There were also wet towels in the washing machine that were never moved to the dryer before our stay. Overall we enjoyed our trip! There was a nice driveway to accommodate multiple cars as well.

We choose this house because it was dog friendly, although our son decided not to bring his dog the option for that is nice. There was no smell of dog or dog hair in the house. Getting into the house was easy. Upon entering we noticed a big stain on the chair lounge, and a sheet was half way in a basket next to the chair? The house is older and I liked the layout, but it needs to be cleaned better, the microwave was very dirty, there was grease all over the top of the stove the fridge had something thick and sticky on one shelf, the mini blinds were all dirty and pieces of what looked like food on the one in the dining area, we found pieces of chips on the window seal next to the chair. Our son said the bed on the main floor was very saggy, he said he lifted the mattress and the one bar of the frame was down so he pulled it back up but ended up not staying in place, i told him to try one upstairs but it was to hot for him up there only a fan, no ac on 3rd floor. My husband and I slept in the one room down stairs and bed was fine. The shower door down stairs did leak had to lay a towel on floor there there was only one bath mat for the upstairs shower. The sheets and towels were clean, could have used more towels . The Location was ok, was close to places we wanted to go but not really able to walk to anything. We were there the week leading up to the 4th of July we heard lots of fireworks at night, at least we hope they were all fire works. Other then that the area was quite.
